Loved the option of not needing a rental car during my trip. Easy paid shuttle to and from the airport (private vendors) and free shuttles to and from the ski resorts. We enjoyed the central location that had a ski resort bus stop nearby. Hint - walk up to the Banff Caribou Lodge to catch the shuttle. The shuttles can fill up in the morning and the earlier the stop the better. If a shuttle is full another one is 5 minutes behind it so not the biggest deal. We enjoyed the hot tub, steam room and sauna. Perfect for after a day on the slopes. Daily housekeeping was great. We enjoyed the pizza restaurant on site, Carlito’s. Great food.

Banff Ski trip

Hôtel was excellent and staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. My only (minor) issue was that the recycling options in the room could have been more clearly marked. We will definitely return.

Convenient walking distance from cafés, restaurants, and shopping area in Banff. Our room was spacious and clean. Staff are friendly and parking conveniently located on site. Street-facing room a little noisy at night when partygoers return from the bars.

We liked the proximity to shopping & restaurants. We liked our loft suite but it got very hot in the loft. We turned on the fan, the A/C and opened the window at night. It was -18C at night so I can't imagine what it would be like in the summer. It was on the quieter side of Banff - we were surprised there was a $20 per night parking fee. Otherwise the hotel was quite nice.

Decent hotel for the price. Lack of restaurant in the building for breakfast was a bit of a pain. Given that it would have been nice if the rooms had microwaves. Also would have been nice to have more hooks to hang wet towels and more hangers or hooks to store all the winter coats and ski gear.

Hotel is beautiful, In excellent shape and in an excellent area. Carlitos restaurant made amazing Pizza and waits times were reasonable for how busy they were. Front desk staff were pretty great and the underground parking was expensive but worth it. Only complaints were housekeeping. We had housekeeping come in the first day but room wasn’t very clean and coffee supplies not refilled even though a tip was left. We decided not to have housekeeping clean rooms after that. Pool bathroom/change rooms were not the cleanest either. For how expensive it was it was still a great stay and I would recommend.

Disappointingly basic property and facilities. Useless gear storage that has a per night charge which was not disclosed at time of booking. Bathroom fittings hanging off the wall including the shower and bath spout. Razor sharp bed frame exposed due to incorrect size of matress. Had to ask reception for a kettle, whilst there was no issue, it feels cheap to not have one already in the room. Big room but very little storage and surface area. Terrible heater - incredibly noisy when it's running and ruins your sleep. No free bus pass available like other hotels in the area. My partner was not allowed to sit with a drink by the fire for some reason. Ski shuttle bus pickup at hotel next door which was good. Staff friendly and responsive. Budget hotel at premium prices, generally disappointed with the stay overall, will not be back.
