Good, but not 5-stars
Grand Center Point Surawong is a lovely hotel, and a great location. But it is not a 5-star hotel, if you’re used to Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton levels of service. There were a lot of little things: the check-in was rushed and not well communicated (the lady just rushed thru the process and hurried us on our way), there is no turndown service, the bathroom amenities weren’t replaced after use, the concierge wouldn’t give us water (I had to go back up to the room), the fridge in the room had food left over from the person before me, etc. All that said, the facilities are delightful, the pool has an incredible view, breakfast is fantastic, the beds are comfortable, the bathtubs are lovely. But this is definitely a 4-star or 4.5-star hotel.

This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life! Service was incredible from the front desk to the housekeeping , everyone was so nice . Rooms were very big and clean and very modern . The area just around the hotel is a bit boring, but walk a few minutes and you got loads of cool and nice places . The pool is very small and crowded, rooms are lovely breakfast is good and the staff very sweet and friendly.

The staff were extremely helpful even though I wasn’t able to use my credit card when checking in. BTS station may not be too closed to hotel but it is still within a reasonable walk and safe.
