Confortable, propre, la maison mise à jour situé dans la ville de Bar Harbor, à 5 minutes à pied de la place du village.
Situé dans un quartier calme avec une grande cour fermée, cette maison est un endroit idéal pour des vacances en famille.

Trois chambres, une salle de bain, cuisine, salle à manger, salon et enrouler autour de terrasse avec barbecue - tous sur un seul niveau, avec également une buanderie au niveau du sous-sol avec laveuse / sécheuse.

Chambres: chambre de maître avec lit queen, 2ème chambre avec lit queen, 3ème chambre avec 2 lits jumeaux. Maître a fenêtre AC, 20 'TV, 3ème chambre a fenêtre AC.

Cuisine: tous les appareils mis à jour - lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur, cuisinière / four, mixeur, mixer, TV - barre centrale avec 2 tabourets.

Salle à manger: Places assises 6 autour de la table de salle à manger, avec des chaises pliantes pour les clients.

Salon: grand canapé et causeuse, bureau d'ordinateur, télévision avec lecteur DVD, magnétoscope, AM / FM stéréo avec changeur de CD, téléphone, avec Internet haut débit sans fil.

Remarque: En raison de la réglementation d'assurance de la cheminée est non fonctionnel.

Wonderful stay!
We have stayed at Shannon Cottage many times. It is very comfortable and well stocked. The location is perfect! It is in a quiet residential area just a couple of blocks from the town square. The fened yard is great for our dogs. The owner is lovely and provides a personal touch.

Another nice stay at Shannon Cottage
This is our 4th stay here, I think. Have lost track. It's amazing how quiet it is considering how close it is to BH ctr. We value being able to park the car (plenty of room for multiple cars although we only ever have one) and walk everywhere in town after a day in the park. Not only close to restaurants but also < 10 minute walk to the YMCA

Great location and responsive host! Needs improvement in cleanliness And maintenance.
Shannon cottage from the outside is charming and the location is fantastic. Barbara is very responsive and very helpful. Perhaps because it was the end of the season, the bathroom was not very clean, and there were a number of minor maintenance issues that need to be addressed which we communicated to her.

Great Stay in Bar Harbor
While we had some unexpected events happen while we were on our way to and in Bar Harbor we are very thankful we truly had a home away from home! Anything and everything we could have needed was at the house and a lovely treat was waiting for us from Barbara too! Having a single story worked great for the aging family members we had with us as well. Overall I couldnt have wanted or needed anything more for our stay. We will be back to stay again!

Great Location in a Quiet Neighborhood
We loved staying at this cozy cottage! It’s conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the waterfront. And it’s just a very short drive to explore Acadia National park. The neighborhood is very quiet. Our pup enjoyed the fenced-in backyard too 🐶 We’re looking forward to coming back to Bar Harbor soon!

Quiet home near main street Bar Harbor
We were a family of 5 that stayed for a week. The house was immaculate and very well stocked. The host, Barbara was very attentive, although we really didn't need to contact her for anything. The location was great. The neighborhood was quiet, which was a nice contrast to the bustle of main street. Had we brought our dogs there was a very nice fenced in yard. The twin beds were a little stiff and while the house was air conditioned it was done with units, the main one being in one of the bedrooms. It was quite loud, but all of the units together did the trick. We turned the main one off at night after the house cooled down and were quite comfortable. This is the perfect place if you want to be close to main street but also would like your space and privacy. Would definitely stay again.

As good as a high end hotel
This property was amazing. Yard and house was much bigger than expected. We had 4 adults, one kid, and 2 large dogs and had room to spare. Perfect location off of main roads but short walk to everything. Everything was stocked more than any other place I've stayed. Its clear the owners take pride and joy in this place.

Wonderful stay in Bar Harbor
Shannon Cottage was a great home base for exploring all Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park has to offer. The house was well-stocked with essentials and kitchen gear. The fenced-in backyard was perfect for our dog. The host was communicative and helpful. Highly recommend!

Great relaxed house in a perfect location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and would do so again. Clean, comfortable, everything we could need was there, and the location was perfect for exploring everything while an easy walk to town. Our pups enjoyed the yard and were at ease in the quiet neighborhood. The owner communicated well and promptly. We even had fresh flowers! All the comforts of home.
We really enjoyed our trip to Bar Harbor. The location of this house is perfect. It’s a short walk into town and an easy drive to Acadia NP. We cooked most of our meals during our 6 day stay here. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, dishes and had a nice selection of spices. This made cooking at “home” a snap. The bed that I slept in is comfortable and the water pressure for showers was good. We were able to relax in the living room on comfortable furniture when we were out exploring. Our dogs loved the yard and in warmer weather there’s plenty of space to relax outside.

Another great Bar Harbor stay at Shannon Cottage
Our 2nd time staying here. The owner was good enough to set it up so we could arrive early. Place perfect for us. Very quiet street, yet stone's throw to Mt Desert St in Bar Harbor downtown. Allows you to ditch the car when going about town. Nice weather this time so we ate lunch on the deck under the parasol shade. A nice perk. Not related to the cottage but the lobster roll at "The Hotdog Stand" in Winter Harbor (Schoodic Pennisula) is my wife's new favorite after discovering last time here that Adelman's Deli had closed. Of course, it's a two-hour boat (or car) ride round trip but if you like hot buttered lobster rolls worth a stop if you're going out there.

Very comfortable house, great location!
We have stayed at Shannon Cottage 4 times and love it there. The house is comfortable and well equipped. We take our dogs and the fenced yard is great for them. The neighborhood is quiet but a short walk to the center of Bar Harbor.

Great Family Vacation Rental

Vacation in Bar Harbor
My husband, my daughter and two grandaughters stayed here for a week. The location was better than expected and the house was very cozy and comfortable with everything you need. Safe and quiet neighborhood about a block from downtown. I would drive my family to dinner and then return the car to the house (husband sprained his ankle). Really enjoyed our stay at this house!

Shannon Cottage is in a great location that is within walking distance to town. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, we felt extremely safe being out and about after dark. Well equipped kitchen with lots extras to help with cooking - new pans, bowls, cooking utensils, spices, sugar, oil, vinegar, Pam, paper products, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dish liquid, etc. Games, books, and movies were provided for entertainment. Very accommodating of our dogs - fenced in back yard and a filled water dish was waiting for our arrival. Digital lock made it so everyone in our group could come and go as they pleased. Looking forward to a return visit!!

This was our second visit to this property and it will continue to be our first choice when planning upcoming trips to Bar Harbor. It's located in a quiet neighborhood that was within an easy walk to town and the water. Very close to hiking trails. We appreciated the special touches, including toiletries to cover unexpected needs and fresh flowers and chocolates on arrival. We're happy to have found this gem. Excellent location
The cottage was perfect for 4 adults and two dogs. Everything that you could ever require on vacation was provided by the homeowner. The large fenced in backyard was great place to run our dogs. Dog Approved Acadia Adventure
Barbara's place was absolutely perfect for our visit to Acadia National Park! The location is a few minutes walk to Bar Harbor (shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, etc) and a short drive to Acadia National Park. We stayed here because of the location AND that it was dog friendly with a fully fenced in yard. The house was well stocked with amenities- Extra blankets, towels, a full kitchen with glasses and dishes, a first air kit, even board games! -you name it - it was a home away from home! Barbara even had a bouquet of fresh flowers in the kitchen when we arrived which was just another way she goes above and beyond. My family stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. If we ever get the chance to visit Acadia again, we will definitely stay here!
