The fact that this is s student residence on a college campus attracted us. There is ample parking, the location is good, next to highway 400, and it is an all concrete building which is generally sound proof. The price of the room was also attractive. But the apartment we were given was a real mess. The wall paper was literally stapled to the wall, there were no casings around the windows, only red construction tape, there was a deep scuff on the table, the cabinet doors were chipped at the bottom, the verticals in the window were crooked. It looked like a disaster zone. Never mind the poor quality of the mattresses, toilet paper and towels. All in all, if you can't afford better, go for it but if you have the budget to pay a little more, then avoid it.
