Les points forts : Propreté, équipements, infrastructures et conditions de l’hébergement
A great option for a family stay in Basel. We were travelling from the UK. Could sleep up to 6 comfortably but only one bedroom - with two double beds. Living room had 3 sofa beds - instructions provided to allow them to be flattened. Apartment was clean. Helpful touches were the two Swiss electrical adapters for the Swiss sunken style power outlets (normal round European adapters don’t fit!) as well as a kettle and toaster. Shower gel and soap provided. Also washing up supplies. Large Coop supermarket below with in store bakery.
Transport - super convenient no. 30 bus stop close by to connect with airport bus at SBB station. Details from rental company did not mention that overnight parking IS available in the coop supermarket basement car park (called Baleo Erlenmatt - plenty of spaces) - we paid approx CHF 25 - restricted night access via a separate doorway (didn’t need to use). Didn’t appear to be a day capped rate - so an expensive option - but handy for us as we hired a car for just part of our stay. Short walk to German station (Bad Bahnof) and close to exhibition square. Lobby contained the rubbish bins - so a bit of an unpleasant smell upon arrival. Key fobs for access to apartment - a bit tricky to get the hang of initially.
Would definitely use again if in town to save on catering costs in what is a very expensive part of Europe to visit!
