Great property

We had an extended family getaway to this house and it was wonderful. It is in the quiet side of Bass Lake and the boat dock was great. We were the only ones in the dock for the entire 3 days. There is a lot of stairs to walk up to go back and forth to the house but it was doable. The house is very clean and had lots of space for our group. We will book again if we go back. The owners were responsive to questions and even left a little welcome basket which was a nice touch.

The house was beautiful, comfortable and immaculate. There were so many fun things to do- from swimming in the lake to ax throwing to just watching the sunset with a glass of wine. We used this location as a launching point to visit Yosemite as well, and it was very easy to make it to the South entrance. Our hosts were super responsive and thoughtful. Thank you for an amazing first visit to Bass Lake- we will definitely be coming back!

Bass lake adventure

We just spent a fantastic weekend at Bass Lake . The house was perfect as were the hosts so helpful and accommodating . It was a family trip with all different age groups from 6 months to seventy it worked for everybody . I would highly recommend this amazing home .

Magical

Owners obviously deeply care for their property, it’s apparent in all the details of the home. It’s so well stocked that anything you think you may have forgotten - the house probably has it!! The view is spectacular, we enjoyed many nights on the deck. The rooms are very comfortable, so nice to have so many king beds. The downstairs kid “den” was amazing, the kids did not want to leave it!! The dock access is the only thing to consider if you have anyone who is physically challenged. Although a bit of a workout grandpa was able to hike it up and down. But once at dock it’s a great quiet place to swim and tie your inflatable up and float, or dock your boat. It was lovely from start to finish…cherished memories were made because of this incredible home that has been built and prepared with love !!

We loved this place!!

We stayed here for 5 nights. The entire group enjoyed our stay. The house was amazing and had plenty of space for all. The deck space made for a great place to enjoy morning coffee or to host the entire group for a nice dinner. We used the Blackstone Skillet on the deck for almost all our cooking. It has enough space to cook large meals, and no pots and pans to clean ;). The host was quick to respond when we had questions. We will stay in this house the next time we stay at Bass Lake!! Thanks!!!

Perfect place to bring families together.

House was very clean and had everything we needed for an awesome vacation! Dock was perfect for boating and we loved floating in the quiet, no wake cove. We thoroughly enjoyed hanging out in the comfy family room and all the great deck space.

The perfect lake house

Really enjoyed our stay. This place is clean, nicely decorated and well stocked. We loved the quick access to and views of the lake. The kids enjoyed the games in their bedroom and fishing poles.

Our yearly bass trip.

The property was excellent. The comfortable beds provided a restful night's sleep after spending the day on the lake. The kitchen and barbecue were fantastic for preparing our family meals. We even caught some really nice bass right off the dock! The kids loved the amazing playroom/bunk room. I was able to keep the house cool and relax when needed. I highly recommend this place.

This is my 3rd year at this AMAZING house! It really has it all even down to salt and pepper! The host has really thought of every need. The private launch ramp and slip at the deep end of the lake makes everything easier. The house is super functional and roomy for a really big group. Feels like home when we all visit. If you’re looking for the ultimate stay look no further.

A Lakeside Paradise for Families and Friends—5 Stars!

Our group of 6 adults and 6 children, ranging from ages 2-17, recently had the privilege of staying at this incredible lakeside cabin on Bass Lake, CA. To say that this experience exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. From the get-go, the property owner was warm, welcoming, and eager to share their lakeside haven with us. Not only were they friendly, but they were also incredibly knowledgeable about the area, offering excellent recommendations for boating and dining. The house itself is spacious and well-designed, giving everyone ample room to spread out, cook, and eat together. The indoor spaces are comfortable and inviting, but it was the outdoor amenities that truly blew us away. Multiple decks allowed for endless views of the lake. We brought our 23' boat, and the private members-only launch ramp and dock were in fantastic condition, a quick walk to the cabin and easy to use. Situated at one end of the lake, the property offers an extra layer of privacy and quiet that you don't often find. Despite its secluded feel, we were just a quick car or boat ride away from all the action—restaurants, bars, and all that Bass Lake has to offer. We are already planning our return trip for next year, and it can't come soon enough. This cabin has earned a 5-star rating in every aspect. If you're looking for a lakeside getaway that offers both tranquility and easy access to outdoor activities, look no further

Wonderful stay. Phyllisha is an excellent host. We had a boat and were able to launch and dock at a private dock. Lake was beautiful and everyone had a great time. There were a lot of stairs to deal with and that was disclosed to us in detail of what to expect. Great trip and celebration!

Perfect vacation, wonderful house

We had never stayed at this end of the lake but were very pleased with the location. The views of the lake and the dam and the sunsets were beautiful. The house was impeccable...clean, lots of room and beds, laundry room, the kitchen had everything we needed and outdoor toys were available. Correspondence with the owner was quick and she was very responsive. She was available whenever we needed for any question we had. There was lots of room and beds for everyone and the kids (9, 8 and 4) loved their playroom. The house was big enough so we all met for meals :) but the house had enough space for everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy their space. Thank you for everything.

Perfect Lakeside Getaway

Had three families at the cabin for an extended weekend getaway. Simply put, one of the best stays we’ve had ever. Cabin was clean, exactly as pictured, and communication with the owners was easy and efficient. Hard to beat the location, quality of cabin and ease of communication on this place. We will be looking to head back to this place for sure in the future.

Sheer perfection!

We took the whole gang of 3 generations and it was perfect. House is even nicer in person. Plenty big for us 12. Phylisha is SUPER helpful on many levels. She REALLY enhanced the trip (Some managers on Bass are the pits! Watch out). From the water toys, the the teppanyaki grill, to the firepit and the games. All was really utilized by our crew. The only thing I'd mention is that it is a bit up on the hill with stairs but not tricky. ****The best part is its location on the lake! Deep within the 5mph zone makes a HUGE difference in floating options. Safe and quiet and still close to fast water for boating etc.****

This is our second time and the house gets better and better! Such an awesome spot and the house is more than you could ask for. If you’re thinking about this house versus another, stop looking. The host is more than accommodating and supportive. Love this place! See you next year!

Perfection!!!

The home was hands down the best vacation rental I’ve ever stayed at! Our group consisted of 6 adults, 1 teen, 1 toddler & 1 infant, the home fit the needs of every one of us! The kitchen was well stocked, the owners were kind and easy to reach, the home was clean and the views were spectacular! Every detail was well thought out, including a nice welcome basket.. what a nice surprise. It is clear the owners take great pride in their home- thank you Justin & Phylisha, we can’t wait to return!!

Vacation with family and friends

We loved our stay! Our hosts Justin & Phylisha were amazing. We have a large family and needed a house to fit 15 and they were so accommodating when we discussed it up front. They we easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions. We arrived to a beautiful, meticulously clean house with a beautiful view. A thoughtful gift basket with wine, snacks, activity books for the kids and a personal note welcomed us. The house is so well stocked with anything you could possibly need and all the extras that made the trip special including fishing rods and floats and deck games and a hibachi table. The kids game room kept the kids entertained every evening when we were in from the lake and it was the hang out room for all the kids, so the adults could hang out upstairs in a quiet separate space. We had such a great time with memories to last a lifetime. We can’t wait to come back!

5 reasons not to stay here

1. The windows were disgusting and looked like they haven’t been cleaned in months with an infestation of bugs and mold 2. The dishwasher does not work & kitchen windows do not open. 3. There was piles of trash left from a renovation on the outside 4. There are cameras everywhere on the property and the homeowner is constantly watching. We were contacted from the homeowner everyday multiple times a day. 5. We have stayed in multiple VRBOs and have always had amazing stays and nothing but great things to say until this one. If you want to feel like your being watched by big brother, always on constant alert, and staying in a house that was not up to the standard that was listed, this is the house for you.
