We enjoy the pool, sauna and steam room about 2pm and had it almost to ourselves. The service was impeccable, the bedding was very good quality, the bathroom well appointed, and the room recently renovated.

This hotel was lovely and we would definitely stay again. It was very central to all the bars and shops, yet still so quiet at night. The staff were friendly at both the welcome desk and the bar.

Fantastic hotel in a great position

This hotel was perfect for a short break. Centrally located a short walk from the station with fantastic welcoming staff on Reception. Rooms were clean and modern with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent with buffet and a fresh cooked menu delivered quickly and efficiently to the table so the best of both worlds. The spa was also great to relax and have a swim after a day walking. Booking your hour slot meant it was never too busy and we had the pool to ourselves for one of the hours booked so very relaxing! Highly recommend and we will be back next time we are in Bath. Thank you for a lovely couple of days.

I have stayed here numerous times and generally been impressed with the hotel. However, this time I was confronted with a broken lamp in the room and pubic hairs in the bath...which is never a nice experience when you just want a bath after a long day on the road. I went down to reception to let them know, and was told that someone will come up and clean the bath at some point in the evening. There wasn't an apology or any indication when this pube removal process would be completed, which I found a little bit hard to accept, to be honest.

Nice rooms but poor service

Pool was out of action (which was the main reason we booked this hotel). Desk staff were rude and if you intend to leave your bags "ensure you arrive 30 mins before you need to collect your bags" - they won't tell you this until it comes to collection though.
