Terrible Host…Avoid this property if you value customer service.
My family and I Rented this property for our Christmas celebration. When it came to check-in day, I had not received any information regarding checking in, other than “a host will meet you at the property to allow you inside.“Imagine my frustration, and fear, when I was unable to get a hold of the host. My family was already headed to the location, as they lived quite far away.I called the main office of evolve. Their office is in India, so she was unable to help.Both myself, and the evolve team contacted the host six different times, along with two different emails, with no response.At that point, I was very fearful that I’ve been scammed. I spent 48 minutes working with the customer service from India. At that point, it was 50 minutes before we were supposed to check in, and I was in the process of canceling our reservation; I then received a text from the host. I explained our situation, asked if we could possibly receive some sort of compensation for all of the stress and frustration I just experienced? The host then mocked me in two different texts. The host stated they would let our family check out two hours later on Sunday “for your 48 minutes of stress.“Whatever happened to customer service? If you care about customer service, please do not rent from this host.If the host had simply apologized for the lack of communication, the situation would have been rectified .that
