Very old and used Furniture, dirty carpet and the room was smelling of cigarette. I’ve forgotten some items in the room and tried to recover them next day, but they were not to be found apparently.
Stayed here 4 nights and was very happy with the accommodation. Staff were organised, professional and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. plenty of storage space and electrical sockets, complete with sink (i opted for a shared bathroom). Bed was very comfortable with extra blankets in cupboard if required. The was a flat screen TV and wifi signal was very good (works on phones and tablets only). There is an elevator to each level. I was situated on the front of the building and was not disturbed by anything outside. Overall an excellent hotel in a very good location. I would stay again!
The Ansbach hotel has a good location - central without being in a touristy area; in fact the area has lots of good eating places and coffee shops and just up the road are Currywurst stalls. The hotel is quiet and comfortable .
It’s not so much a hotel as a dormitory. Bathrooms are shared and the rooms are not airconditioned. Ours was very stuffy.
However, the hotel is well located with a lot of easily accessible landmarks.

Cheap and small
Small and centric hotel, a little dark but private
It felt more like a hostel with having a bathroom at the end of the corridor, I was sure we had booked an en-suite. The decor was old and tired . The breakfast was adequate but with a lot of school children staying and making their own ham and cheese rolls for their lunches left the plates of food quite depleted .
The sink in our room had a massive crack in it and there isn’t any coffee / tea making facilities. The location is good and close to public transport, however after checking out other hotels while we were there we found many more that were nicer , cheaper and closer to the main areas of tourism

Not Great - Not Awful
We booked a double bed room, but when we showed up, we were given two twin beds. After speaking with the staff (not the best English) they offered a double bed room. The room was average sized, but they only gave us two packets of shampoo for toiletries. Shower was less than great as well, but otherwise room was good. Breakfast was average for the area. Finally, it was very convenient that they had parking available, but it was via a gate that they only had one key to and there was no where to park and open/close it. When we were getting ready to leave, a car was parked in front of ours in this tiny parking lot, so we had to wait on them to get out. Overall, could have been better, but we've stayed at worse.

Berlin
This extremely basic. Ok for 1or 2nights if you just need a bed but don’t expect any luxuries. The only benefit is it is located very centrally to all major city centre facilities.
The lift was broken for most of the stay and I was in the fifth floor with my 80 year old father. They did compensate with free breakfasts for our entire stay. Some things are beyond their control. Lots of construction around them but that is everywhere in Berlin. Very good position and good premises.
Dude it was great!
One thing that would help greatly is to tell the exact train route from the airport in a brief easy wording for those unfamiliar with train travel.

Good hotel, good value , clean room, carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced...over all good experience.
The place is on a excellent location. However, staff was not helpful. We were placed at the 7th floor. The elevator door would not open from the outside on the 7th floor, so we had to go down a floor to get into it. At night the elevator broke down completely. Staff said that they would only have it fix the following week. We asked for a room at a lower floor. They said they were all booked because of Easter weekend. Not true. The next 2 days I wondered around the other floors and that were several rooms empty. They gave the 7th floor for the rates on hotels.com. The bathrooms were clean. The building in general not the cleanest.
