Overall, the house was great and we had a wonderful 2 weeks. The neighborhood is in a great location w/ access to restaurants & a short drive to the beach. The house was clean & spacious and there were great open areas to gather to eat, play games, sit outside on the screened in porch.
Our biggest frustration was the mgt company. We arrived @ the house 4:40pm & immediately heard smoke detector chirp . high ceilings & no batteries. We called the office at 4:45 (15 minutes prior to closing) & were told it would be difficult to have someone stop by because it was late in the day & when we pushed for help the person hung up on us. An hour later called the after-hours number & were told this was not an emergency; that person also hung up on us. next day had issues w/ a broken chair & leaky kitchen faucet. another call was placed, someone came by 11am. we give a big thumbs down to the management company & their customer service.
While the house was great, the house description was inaccurate in our opinion in claiming the house was a “5BR” in the listing title. From our perspective, there are 4 bedrooms & a sunroom w/ a daybed / trundle. The sunroom has glass French doors & sliding glass door w/ NO blinds.The "Rooms & Beds" section VRBO listing skipped # 3 b/c NOT a bedroom but rather a sunroom that someone could sleep in. On Zillow, it's listed as a 3BR house b/c the 2nd upstairs bedroom has no closet. we really did love the place but cust svc was terrible & listing inaccurate
