A week to experience the powerful and magical nature of Scotland. Brooklynn Mill has attracted our attention. But how do we get there from the airport without a car? None of us dares to drive on the left. Louise and Tim touchingly took care of my questions. Driver, cab researched and even wrote alternatives. This was extremely helpful and relaxing before and our stay during the week. For this we are very grateful.
The house located in the middle of nature, spacious, very clean, well maintained and equipped with everything we needed and far beyond.
Four rooms are on entrance level, all carpeted.
One is the library overlooking the river. One room has two single beds, one room has a wide bed that sleeps 2- with a balcony facing the sunrise. The bed in the third room is narrower- for 2 people who like to lie close together. Two open staircases lead down to the living-dining room and kitchen. A door leads to two stairs down to the terrace. we are good at climbing stairs
We were positively surprised that the Wire is just a few meters next to the house, which connects with the river Ericht. The sound has a deeply relaxing effect. The surrounding area invites you to explore. Moss-covered ruins, fairies and elves. The paths through the forest are mystically beautiful, leading down to the shore or further along the river, 20 min. to the village of Blairgowrie.
The crane stretches its wings, a robin sits in front of us, a cute mink says hello. So grateful.
