When I booked my reservation, there was a 3.8 star rating. Please do not be deceived. The property is being upgraded, but it is far from safe or clean. The hallways were kept clean daily, but outside there is trash everywhere and human feces mixed with dog feces all over the place. There is a full sized garbage can for sharps outside the entrance door in the back, which does not lock. The residents who live in this hotel do not respect night hours, and there are all kinds of parties from 1-4 am. It was very difficult to get sleep. When I asked the front desk staff after another man grabbed me outside my room, he told me to stand aside so he could help two men who had just walked in. He proceeded to check them in, without even asking me if I was ok. I observed him checking people in for cash without asking for ID or required safety documents. The bathroom in my room had the worst tile I have ever seen, complete with stains. It was so gross. I rinsed the tub and scrubbed it down before I used it. The one good thing I can say is they allow dogs, but it isn't set up well and they put the dog guests next to each other, so the other guests dogs were barking a lot, and of course all through the night. We had a fire alarm situation the first night, which took over an hour to get cleared by the fire department. My guess is that happens more often than it should since it took so long. I am grateful to be alive and out of that hotel.
