I recently stayed at the SpringHill Suites Boston and, regrettably, my experience was far below the standards I have come to expect from Marriott properties. Reservation and Check-In Issues: Despite booking my room nearly two months in advance, upon arrival at approximately 10 p.m., I was informed that my reserved room was unavailable due to overbooking. The front desk agent mentioned that rooms were assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, which is unacceptable for a confirmed reservation. After a prolonged delay, I was eventually provided a room. Room Cleanliness and Housekeeping Concerns: The following morning, I discovered several cleanliness issues in the room: • Bedding: The sheets had visible bloodstains. • Flooring: The carpet appeared unvacuumed. • Furniture: The couch was visibly dirty. I reported these issues to the front desk at approximately 8:15–8:30 a.m. and was assured that housekeeping would address them immediately. However, upon returning to my room at 1:45 p.m., no cleaning had been performed. Despite multiple complaints, the staff displayed indifference, and I had to personally locate housekeeping to address the situation. Management’s Unprofessional Conduct: The situation escalated when the manager inspected the room and sided with the staff, suggesting that the room had been thoroughly cleaned prior to my arrival. This insinuation questioned my integrity and that of my sister, who was traveling with me.

In the room the coffee maker was broken, pillow case was dirty and the sofa had stuff smudged in it. Only 2 towels for 5 guests! 1 trash barrel for a suite and no trash bags. Pool area constantly ran out of pool towels and the staff all followed different rules causing confusion and a staff member yelling at children instead of addressing the parents. During breakfast we were cold because the front door constantly opening. Then we saw a mouse run by our feet. Some of the food was cold as well. On the site it advertised a bar/lounge and restaurant. None of this was true- false advertising. We won't be coming back.

The hotel was clean and staff was very welcoming upon arrival. I've stayed at different Marriotts and was looking forward to the complimentary cookies. Instead of the Manager telling me their branch didnt serve the cookies. He told me they were out at the time. I was raving about how delicious they were to my family. I felt foolish asking for the cookies the next morning, only to have staff tell me they are not serving this time of the year. Being that it is cold season, which I understood the reasoning.

When I checked in they never told me that they don’t clean the room every day . I came back after going to school on my first day there and my trash wasnt pick up and I had no vlean towels after showering the night on my check and the following morning getting ready for my day. I spoke to service desk and they said they were sorry but they don’t cleaning the room untill the next day when I check out . I also had check for the breakfast that was giving for free and nothing look good to eat and the coffee wasn’t even fresh. The oatmeal was cold and dried potatoes. Went to the whirlpool to relax after getting back from my first day of class on Friday but the keycard wasn’t working and when I got in after another customer that was staying there also said that it doesn’t work but it is warm to soon it for10 mines then went back to shower after asking for towels to find out they would come to my room to pick up my trash and the maintainer would be by. I liked the room and I thought it was a great room my thing was once I got to the room ant my hotel I didn’t leave the hotel I eat in my room because I had a frigerator also had a great shower with great soap and shampoo and conditioner to the bathroom . Just need another soap by the sink in the by the frigerator with microwave and glasses with the ice bucket.,and microwave which was great .At the end that stay there could have been a lot better and do better in everything with food service and cleanliness.

We will be back

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night. All staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are a great size and much bigger than other places we stayed. Not just our room but the hotel as a whole was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The beds were 10 out of 10 for comfort. The hot and cold breakfast options were outstanding and delicious. We will definitely stay here again.
