situation is great very close to the River. people are really kind and helpful, always a cookie of the day to share and some tea to drinkwhatever the time of day. Room was quite small and bathroom to share can be sometimes inconvenient with jetlag hours but the history of the place makes it a great place to stay to discover Boston which is to me one of the most European like cities in the US. We were on a business trip so different than a family holiday but still very glad to experience it!
Lovely alternative with real character to chain hotels. Perfectly located for exploring the town, Large room great choice for families . Breakfast is simple , good enough for us
When I arrived, I was very surprised to find out that the bathroom was not connected to the bedroom and that it was shared with the other occupants of the floor. I wasn't told when I booked. Fortunately, it was not a big deal, the bathroom was never occupied when I needed it. Also, the clim is noisy. But the rest was very satisfactory and the location of the hotel was perfect for me.
We loved the location and enjoyed walking around Beacon hill, the Public Garden and Common and Copley Square. The hotel was unique and beautiful, accommodations were comfortable and clean, staff was lovely and breakfast, coffee & cookies were delicious!
I really enjoyed my stay. Itâs the perfect location, and it felt like staying in a piece of history that I truly care about and admire. As a woman professional myself, I was especially inspired knowing this was the first womenâs college club in the U.S. I will definitely return if I visit Boston again.
