This property was a not up to expectations. Room 128 required 38 steps to enter the small studio room. There was NO storage space in the entry way for ANY skis or boots. THose would also need to be carried up 38 steps and stored in the room. Not good for the room and not good for the guests. The people answering the phone(Ryan on Sunday and Casey/Eric on Tuesday and Wednesday) were very friendly and polite. However, there were some essentials misssing in a place that was a week long rental. No kettle, electic or stovetop, to boil water. No blender, small pan for cooking was rustly and the coating was scraped off. We didn't feel safe cooking in this. There were no lights in the living room area but there was a lamp in the closet so we took that and put it next to the couch on one of the kitchen stools so you could read when sitting on the couch. The door stop was off in the bathroom and on the floor In the corner. The doors to the coat closet were off the tracks and had to be pushed up onto the tracks each time they were opened. In the silverware drawer, there were only 3 forks and a few spoons so we had to keep washing them to eat meals. The decor in the studio was nice and a pleasant rustic design. The bed was only about 2 -3 inches from the wall on one side and there was a wall right next to the other side down to the middle side of the bed. You had to climb over the the end of the bed to get on on the left side. This is not a place we would return to.
The condo itself was super nice and cozy perfect for a couple. The only problem I had was not having enough time inside it with all the activities to do in Breckenridge.
Great location, but the owners need to take better care of the property. Room was very hot and stuffy and there were no screens on the windows. It was so hot that we could not sleep very well. Also, the cold water in the bathroom sink does not work.
It was exactly how it was portrayed but the only downfalll is that it has no AC. We were feeling the altitude sickness and having no ac didnt make it any better. Other than that everything was good. Right by downtown & great views.
Great unit, great price, would book again, but a few tips for future travelers.
This is a nice unit, it had everything you need for your stay if you're planning to cook. The unit was clean and organized upon arrival. Check-in was easy and straightforward. The location is convenient as it's very close to the main street with restaurants and shops, but the walk to the Quicksilver lift is longer and more uphill than it appears on the map. So if you don't mind the walk, it's honestly not that bad.
Tips for future travelers:
If you're traveling by shuttle, ask the driver to drop you off in the parking lot of Christy Sports and the Summit Wine and Liquor. The unit door is behind the liquor store. Our driver dropped us off at the wrong location, which wasn't a huge inconvenience, but with luggage and the elevation, it was somewhat cumbersome. This wasn't the property owner's fault.
If you're not bringing a car and you want to walk to the Quicksilver Lift (the area for beginner skiers/boarders), make sure to wear comfortable shoes, I wouldn't recommend walking in ski boots.
If you're a warm sleeper like me, they have fans in the closet. I didn't notice them until day two. I found the heater to work very well and the unit to stay warm enough.
They have Netflix, but as far as we could figure out, you need to use your own login. The TV is large, which was nice for relaxing after a full day of skiing.
Travel Month: April 2024, snow was still decent if you're wondering.
Great stay and location as advertised. Small mirror and bathroom counter space for multiple people to get ready at once so plan accordingly. Would stay here again for sure.
We stayed at the Riverwalk Studio during the weekend when the International Snow Sculpture Festival (late January 2024).
This is a brilliant location - so close to everything on Main Street (restaurants, shops, etc.), the gondola up to Peak 7 and Peak 8, and the Riverwalk Center. It has a gorgeous view of Bald Mountain across the valley and the town below.
In the winter, we didn't notice any noise whatsoever (we kept the window closed).
Booking was a breeze and our communications with the ownership group were as great as could be.
Super comfy and well appointed. We'll return in a heartbeat!
Note #1: The location is protective of its parking - the folks who monitor the lot are hyper vigilant (they had tagged our car by the time we'd gone upstairs to get the parking permit to place on the dash, but removed as soon as they saw our permit). But, we knew folks were watching so felt extra safe.
Note #2: It is up 3 flights of stairs (no elevator, which is noted in the description). If you're coming from a much lower elevation - take your time. :)
My wife and I stayed here while on a business trip. The room was great and perfect for the two of us. Even better was that itâs located right next to the main strip. We had several outings where we just walked right over and explored! Would absolutely love to stay here again!
Wonderful location for skiers. Next to Christy Lone Star. The end of Four Oâclock town run is across the street and the gondola bus stop is a 2-3 minute walk. Great management company.
This studio is in a great location, just off of the Main Street and a few minutes walk from the gondola that runs up the mountain. The parking pass wasnât where the check in instructions said it would be, but once we called, someone came by within minutes to give us one. The lock on the door gave us some trouble- itâs automated and seemed like it had run out of batteries one evening. The leasing office was unable to send anyone to help as it was New Years Eve, which is understandable, but still a little frustrating as we did not want to leave our unit unlocked. Overall though we had a great stay here and would return in the future.
We stayed in summer and the room was an oven when we arrived and with no air conditioning, there was no way to cool it down. The fan provided only moved the hot air around and sleep was hard to get. By 2am we put the fan on the window ledge to suck the cool night air into the room and finally some relief.
The area is great, the free gondola up the mountain a bonus, a great place to be but be wary in summer.
This place was wonderful. As I was going to be the only person staying, I knew I wouldnât be in the room but to sleep So I wanted something close to Main Street but not on Main. It was the perfect location and the check in process was super easy. If staying in the Summer, make sure to open the window and put the fan up as it does get a little warm. The only suggestion I have is that the check out process was a little vague (ie. What to do with sheets and towels). The stay was great!
Nice, clean, well-equipped studio an easy walk to main street, and the quicksilver lift. One glaring problem: the listed wi-fi network did not exist, and on check in the property management company was closed. I left a voicemail and emailed, and they have yet to respond to either (3 days later).
