Seadown park in Charmouth was ideal for us. We took our 2 grandsons (7 & 5) away for a 4 night stay. The holiday camp has access to the beach and the coastal path, is quiet and has plenty of space for running around. My initial criticism was that there was an additional charge for the Wi-Fi. However, I didn’t buy it and found that it wasn’t missed (at least not by the adults). The caravan was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a short stay.
Charmouth itself is a lovely place. It’s ideally located for the larger towns like Lyme Regis (if you want the hustle and bustle) and had everything we needed. Of course the star of that part of England is the beautiful Jurassic coast and a visit to the heritage museum is a must. We booked ourselves on a fossil hunt and had a great time. Superbly run and I think the one thing we did that was enjoyed as much by the kids as the adults.
