The lodge, lake and property were lovely. The lodge is roomy, well-lit, comfortable and well-equipped with fun games (ping pong, pool table, foosball, poker table, etc.) that made it attractive to a large group of people of different ages and interests. The wifi and audio systems worked well.
The bedrooms were appealing, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and well-appointed.
The house's three floors offer enough space for people to separate into smaller groups for socializing/activities if they wish, and the outdoor hot tub, deck and grill, and dock with kayaks and pedal boat, help ensure that there's something fun to do for everyone.
The house's kitchen is generally well equipped, and we enjoyed making meals during our several days here. (The kitchen had just one cutting board; could use one or two more, for larger groups to use in meal prep.)
We loved the small lake. It is lovely and quiet--how wonderful not to have motor boats zooming around! It's just big enough for a short paddle around in the kayaks, and the woods surrounding the house helped to provide a sense of privacy and seclusion.
We also enjoyed the house's proximity to Lachute, which is a fun, friendly town for shopping or a night out. And of course, Montreal is not that far, if you feel like a big-city excursion.
All in all, our whole family very much enjoyed the house and property and felt happy with this site for our family reunion.
