I got an early check in which was good. I told receptionist I wanted a quiet room on an upper floor and asked if the construction going on in the rooms was nearby and he said no. I ended up being three rooms down from renovation in the rooms and the workers blocked the egress with a big chair. Heard them talking in the hall while they were working, but thankfully no loud music
I departed the next day before breakfast, but there was a grab and go, which was nice. When I returned after a 12 hour day, key door malfunctioned and I was unable to unlock it until maintenance Came up to fix it. That required three separate trips down to the receptionist. When I went in the temperature was 80° and the maintenance man put the AC on cool which malfunctioned and sent the temperature up to 87. This required another call to the front desk, who sent the maintenance man back up but it was unfixable. The front desk was initially unable to give me a new room saying the hotel was full and they couldn’t accommodate me and I either had to stay in that room or they would try to find me a different hotel but I had to pay the difference. After calling three hotels all were full. After an hour I was finally given another room with AC. Despite offers of staff to help me move all of my belongings, nobody came to help me. This was very frustrating to say the least since I was in town that was new to me, and it was about 7 o’clock and dark out when this happened
