Actually the hotel could have 5 stars, but from me they only get 3. The rooms are perfect, wonderful aircon, very good insulation in the rooms. The staff at the fron desk and the cleaning staff is very kind. The staff at the restaurant not so much. I know it is very hard nowadays to get good staff but waiting in the morning for 10min until any waiter comes to the table and then I still have to ask for spoon and fork... most of them are only looking around and are not attentive.
The food is ok, even for the price I paid there should be more choices, but I know, I am in the Philippines where breakfasts are not really special. But what is that kind of food? I missed the names of the food which they put after I complained to the manager. But the worst thing is that the hotel is not providing any juices for breakfast. Not even orange juices or "cheap chemical" juices! You have to pay for them - which I never experienced in any hotel, not even in 1 star hotels in this world. Please change that! The cleaning of the breakfast tables is only rudimentary. I remember that one day we had to change the table 4 or 5 times because the tables were full of ants. They don't clean them with cleaning soap, only with water.And they never ask "How is the food?" That would be a way to get to know about the reality. Waiters in countries with good food always do that. Everywhere I experienced that in Asia, but.... very seldom in the Philippines.
