Excellent Secluded Property!
This property and location were great! There were 7 adults which accommodated us well. The driveway entering the property is over a quarter mile long which provided a great secluded stay! There was plenty of space for parking multiple vehicles. The amenities were excellent, basketball court, outdoor fireplace, hot tub, and pool table. The morning and evening views were a plus. The property has a great amount of woods with trails that allowed us to explore through hiking. The only area of improvement I would say are minor repairs in the inside of the home such as broken cabinet, screen on patio door, refrigerator drawer, flooring buckles, etc. The property manager was very responsive during our stay which was great in assisting us with any questions we had. That was well appreciated! This property was just what was needed for a relaxing extended weekend with friends! We would 100% recommend this property to others!

Beautiful property
This is such a beautiful and peaceful location. My kids enjoyed the games and pool/ping pong table. The adults enjoyed the hot tub, outside fire place and porch. The view is simply amazing. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect Family Friendly Retreat
We enjoyed our long weekend in Cadillac! The space and location was ideal for our group that included two families with seven young kids. One floor (vs multiple) with lots of beds to choose from allowed our group to comfortably sprawl out while keeping little ones close. Everything was considerably new. Access to a washer and dryer was very handy! The hot tub was a great perk for entertaining in the still chilly Michigan weather, too! A few things worth noting… We did walk into a cleaning issue upon arrival but John, the host, and the cleaning team were prompt and made it right. Some basic items were missing or broken (not many pot holders, few kitchen towels, no foil or plastic bags, a cracked strainer). We made due but it would have been more difficult for a longer stay. Blinds or curtains on the doors to the driveway would be nice for added privacy at night - fortunately there are not any close neighbors so this wasn’t a huge concern. For those with young kids, there is lots of goose poop on the grass (not faulting the owner, this obviously comes with the location, just something to be aware of when letting kids roam outside). Overall, a great rental! Thanks, John!

Truly a Special Property
Can spend a whole day just walking the trails and taking in the beauty of the property. The cabin was well stocked with everything you would need. Hot tub was fantastic as well.

Cadillac Trip
Great place to get away. We used it as a jumping off point to go skiing and to head to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear. Kids loved playing pool, ping pong and sitting in the hot tub.

Girls weekend away
Beautiful property, easy to locate. Friendly hosts and quiet, distant neighbors. We had a girls weekend with 9 adults. Plenty of room to spread out and a big beautiful kitchen. We cooked, kayaked, enjoyed the hot tub, played games, and used every room of this beautifully decorated home. We will definitely be back!

Memorial day weekend
It was a great place for my Air Force brothers to meet up with our spouses. It was big enough for all of us. It would of been nice if there was one more queen bed in one of the bed rooms but it all worked out. I would recommend this place to stay at if you are looking for a quiet place to get away from it all. Mosquito spray is a must have!!!

Absolutely loved the cabin! It was perfect little getaway. It is in the perfect spot. Fantastic Living Room and Game Worm room. The communication with the host (John) was wonderful and very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning.

Awesome property
We booked this house for a ski and snowmobile trip. It was a little farther away from the slopes and the snowmobile trail, but was not bad at all. It was great having a hot tub after a long day of skiing and riding. We had an issue with the hot tub but the property owner made that right.

Excellent Family Option!
Absolutely wonderful property. Nothing negative or neutral, only positives! After booking, John will contact you and give you all the details. Meijer & Walmart are within 5 mins yet you are secluded in the woods with a ton of property and trails to ride ATVs or 4 wheelers and have a get away. Each room has heaters for winter and TVs, the kitchen and bathrooms have plenty of towels and cutlery and the hot tub was fantastic for our group. The kids had hockey equipment and we skated for hours on the pond. We will absolutely book this property again in the future! Great job establishing a true northern Michigan home into what everyone imagined VRBO to be utilized for.

Great getaway cabin
The house is great and is equiped with everything that is needed. A lot of towels and plates. It also had big bottles of shampoo and conditioner which is perfect for a big group of people. One thing I would add to the house are more cooking pots, and a heater, as one of the bedrooms was very cold. This house is great for the summer to enjoy the lake, but is also a great forest place for the winter activities!

A few safety concerns. A railing going down the porch steps and non slip strips in the bathtubs. No handrails so they are ripe for slip and falls. Bath mats would be nice too.

Secluded cabin
The cabin is secluded yet minutes from major shopping. It was very clean and quite large. It has a nice little pond with a fountain. We had a great stay. We stayed in the area with intent to visit some other northern Michigan areas. Traverse City is about an hour away and Mackinac Island was 2 hours. Also was able to do fly fishing on the Manistee, which was less than hour. The cabin was very clean, beds very comfortable. Had a couple of rainy days so the pool/ping pong table was an added bonus.
