Serenity now!

The views from the deck are great! We basically spent all of our days out on the decks and on the dock watching the boats, ospreys and an eagle and enjoying our sundowners. We appreciated the new grill, cleanliness, and how stocked the home was. We would certainly stay here again.

Quiet Place

I really enjoy staying at this cozy spot. It's a bit off the beaten path, but that's part of the charm. It's peaceful, with beautiful views from the living room and the back deck.

Peaceful getaway

I loved this home in the woods! The road is long and a dirt road, but that’s one thing I loved. The home was comfortable and very peaceful. The back deck and view was absolutely beautiful! I could live there and be happy!

Perfect Getaway!!!

We can’t say enough! We stayed here while displaced from the hurricane. We enjoyed the beautiful view and the peace and quiet. We were able to finally relax. Shane was great! So helpful! We will come back again!!!

Great home

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home! We communicated easily with the host. The house is laid out beautifully and the outside living areas are lovely. The walk up and down to the dock will give you a workout but we didn’t mind. It is also close to the Shaw AFB boat landing, which made taking our boat out each night easy peasy. We opted to park the boat and truck at the top of the hill the second night as opposed to driving it down and around the circle. We have a 21’ boat.

Lake house

I know the property is being sold and I know you get what you pay for. Still when addition charges are included the rental was not worth the total cost. The property met our needs but it needs serious work and most definitely a deep, deep clean. The housekeepers could not have fixed it in an afternoon so I didn’t ask. The bunk house was buggy and not as pretty as the pictures made it out to be. The pictures made the whole house look better and I was very disappointed in the property. The dock had missing slats and felt unsafe. The entire house needs a deep clean and repair work. I think this house should not be rented until it’s shown a lot of love. Whether it’s being sold or not. On the bright side the property manager was very responsive and excellent!

Cozy cottage

We were in town for a fishing tournament on Lake Wateree. The house is conveniently located to a boat launch and the dock is in great condition. Peaceful back porch to enjoy the lake view.

5 days Vacations

Arrived at dark, no lighting on the property or house— we had to use our car lights to unload our things. Porch and deck covered with leaves. Went to bed, awoke to cobwebs on windows and layers of dust on the blinds. Found the air filter to the house layered with dust. We also found the leaf blower in the closet but did not have time to deal with it ourselves. Drawers in kitchen dirty with debris. Found the vacuum under a large quilt in a disheveled closet in the master. No room to hand clothes with the disorganization. My first instinct was to vacuum, dust and clean the place up, but that’s not what we came there for.. Called property manager who sent a cleaning crew out. Came back to the property after the cleaning, leaves were now gone and house was much cleaner, with air filters also being changed. We could now walk into the house without dragging in leaves. However, shouldn’t this cleaning been done BEFORE we arrived?? Also considerable ants on property, expected in the woods however they do swarm your cars and even into the master closet and kitchen. No offer for restitution has been made , despite paying for a cleaning fee upfront and being assured the property was “ready” before we checked in. Beautiful view but we would not stay here again with all of the above.

Able to check off a bucket list item! For many years on our lake trips, we’ve seen this house tucked up in the trees and wondered about it. Now, we’ve had a chance to stay there and really enjoyed it. House is showing its age somewhat but everything worked as it should. With realistic expectations for a converted mobile home situated on a high, sloped lot, we feel like any small family or group would like staying there. Birdwatchers would probably be in paradise!

Secluded Lake Cabin

This whole process was very easy. My family really enjoyed staying at this place. Everything was as pictured. The huge deck is very nice along with the fire pit table. The view is something else! We thoroughly enjoyed the quietness of the woods and we really enjoyed the lake view! We plan to hopefully rent again in the Summer!

Peaceful lake house

Clean beautiful spacious house on Lake Wateree with amazing views. The kayaks and paddleboards were great and the setting was peaceful. The management team was very responsive to help us. Our family had teenagers and young adults so the stairs to the dock were not an issue. There is a Dollar General 2 minutes away out of the development which was helpful. We also had a problem with the sugar ants. The dirt road and driveway for the final stretch to the house were a little challenging. Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Wonderful Stay

The property was fantastic. It was exactly as described in the pictures and listing. The house was well stocked with necessary supplies, kayaks, paddleboards, and life jackets. The property manager was quick to reply to any request. They had also recently installed high speed internet which allowed for streaming movies and phone use by the kids. This property is highly recommended and we look forward to staying again.

Great home with incredible deck and stairs to lake

Wonderful home with incredible views. The deck and stairs to the floating dock are worth the price by themself. We had a great time here, spent multiple evenings on the dock watching our sons in the kayak and enjoying the views. This is a great rental, modern, clean, and spacious. We would definitely recommend it to anyone spending time in the Camden area.

The Eagles have Rested.

Our Auburn family enjoyed every minute at Eagles’ Rest. Our host was very accessible and helpful. We knew the stairs would be a workout so worth it to use the dock to tie a local boat and swim / float safely with the little ones. The kitchen is stocked well for prep and serving. The wine was a welcome touch after long drives. Recreation equipment is quality, clean and well cared for. I hope everyone enjoys the sunsets and scenery as much as we did. Thank you for an AUsome with lots of memories.
