This cabin was nice enough for our long weekend in the Red River Gorge area for my husband and me. The drive up to the property is very steep which is understandable, but there are extremely deep ruts and mounds on the road up the steep hill that would make it difficult for a low-profile car to arrive without damage. We had trouble entering the cabin as the key pad did not work. Luckily we were able to reach the management company who were able to help. The hot tub was cold when we arrived and the control pad was worn and hard to adjust. The maintenance person who arrived to help us enter the cabin was able to get the hot tub heater to work. The kitchen faucet was loose and provided just a trickle of water which made it difficult to wash dishes (a requirement for check-out). There was a table on the deck where we ate our dinners, but inside there isn't much space for meals. The top of the ottoman in the living room was collapsed, so there was no where to rest your feet while sitting on the couch. Lastly, there is a rudimentary wall that we think the neighbors installed that blocks what would be a gorgeous view. On the upside, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large and the shower was nice. The setting is beautifully wooded and very quiet. We were able to get to all the trails and attractions we wanted to visit within 20-25 minutes. Highly recommend the Gorge Underground kayak trip and the sky lift to Natural Bridge.
