Great swimming pool, not too busy. Easy access to beach which had nice shells and sand. Ocean was a bit too choppy for us to swim in though. Very nice to have a pool bar and they also served food. Plenty of restaurants to choose from including a hibachi grill, steakhouse and Mexican restaurant on the beach. Also fun to have a games room for the kids. Overall we had a great time there and would recommend it!

The building was old, so the water in the bathroom didn’t drain well, and despite being a non-smoking room, there was smoking in the neighboring room. However, all the staff were very kind. What stood out the most was that we could make dinner reservations every evening, making each moment feel like a special event. It was a wonderful experience!

The only reason we gave this property four stars is because the food in virtually every restaurant, save one, was not good. The one good restaurant was the taco bar on the beach. Everywhere else the food was bland (no seasoning), did not have the wonderful flavors of Mexico's foods, the "fresh" fish was farm-raised and imported, the buffet was not particularly conscientious about the temperature of the foods kept in the storing trays. The staff of housekeepers, bartenders, gelato servers, most of the restaurants, and beach drinks servers were the key to our trip being a lot of fun. Our room was nice with a great ocean view. The pools and grounds are amazing. The beach is relatively small but not over-crowded as most people stay by the pool. It's a party atmosphere and therefore a bit noisy for us. (Old people.) The resort also had a lot of families with children staying there. Being all-inclusive (except for tips) our biggest expenditure was tips. We were there seven days and spent $500 on tipping. I could have spent another $100 on tips for the "background" staff, like floor sweepers and outside maintenance workers, like gardeners and window washers. They are the people that make the inside and outside beautiful. The best part of our trip was morning coffee, fresh fruit, and pastries on our balcony from the little self-serve buffet table near the gelato store. Because of the poor quality of the food, we are not planning a return trip to Fiesta Americana Coral Beach.
