This was by far the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. The rooms were filthy, with bloodstained blankets, and the food caused severe food poisoning that sent our entire family to the hospital, costing us $1,800. We were forced to switch hotels after just two nights, paying double, and the hotel refused to refund us for the terrible stay. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place—if I could give it zero stars, I would.

Likes: near bus, walking distance to mall, quiet area, a 30 minute ride from Airport and the staff was nice and the staff at bar and resturant was very attentive. Dislikes: 1 digital key given for 2 people to share. The food was cold breakfast and dinner for 5 out of the 6 days I stayed here. Even when it was brought out from the kitchen it was still cold. The bathroom had an bad smell when we checked in, they had to spray the drain which smell came back 2 days later. Rooms have no seal or sound proofing, so you hear everything happening in the hallway The remote control did not work well i believe they put a lock on the tv or controller to keep people from changing programing Booking escursions through the hotel was more expensive because they didnt select to pay in mexico currency, so an additional charge of $13 was added per excursion. None of the drinks were made accurately and did not taste right. When you book all inclusive, they dont tell you that they do not serve coke or sprite. They only have diet for all inclusive. If you dont want diet you have to pay for it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Imperial Las Perlas for five days and would like to share my experience. Location and Staff: The resort’s location is truly remarkable, offering picturesque views and a serene environment that provided a perfect escape. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the staff. Their kindness and attentiveness enhanced my stay, making me feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout my visit. Dining Experience: While the resort advertised a diverse culinary schedule featuring different cuisines such as Caribbean and Italian, I found the dining options to be repetitive. Despite the themed nights, the menu offerings appeared quite similar each day, which was a bit disappointing. Room Amenities: The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained; however, the shower facilities did not meet my expectations. The water pressure was inconsistent, and temperature control was challenging, which detracted from the overall comfort of my stay. Overall Impression: Despite some drawbacks with the dining variety and shower facilities, my overall experience at Imperial Las Perlas was positive, largely due to the beautiful location and outstanding staff. I would recommend this resort to travelers seeking a tranquil retreat, with the hope that improvements in the dining services and room amenities will be made in the future.

The food had minimal options, but was decent. Don't expect over the top options, but some options were good. A lot of catamaran tours start in front of the resort, so expect a lot of people walking by, but there is a roped off part of the beach just for resort guests. There were no planned activities due to the size of the hotel, but if you're looking for a place to sit by the pool or on the roped off beach, walk the beach, and just need a place to relax, this place meets that need. It is budget friendly, clean, decent size room with balcony (walk outs for the first floor), decent food. I would go back if I'm looking for a place to just relax and do some off resort excursions/tours

OMG. The worst. Not safe- marina scum walk through the property all day. Caught several urinating on building, in bushes, etc. Food... I can't quite call it food as I didn't dare try it so don't know. It looked like dog food- all of it. Music so loud you cannot think. Horrendous. The room: Jesus Christ .. a prison cell likely is in better shape. Seriously, rent a hostel for a few days and it will be a million times more luxurious than this piece of crap. Expedia should not even allow this place to advertise with them. It's dangerous it's filthy it's disgusting and I'm embarrassed that I even tried it.

Warning: False location! The location on the Expedia map is completely inaccurate. It’s nowhere near the main strip, and the water is not swimmable. You are a 2 hour walk in the wrong direction from the location shown in the Expedia map. he hotel staff were exceptionally unhelpful and unfriendly. When I checked in, I immediately noticed that the location on the map was nowhere near where we actually were. I requested a refund or a room relocation since I based my entire trip on the map’s description. Both the hotel and Expedia dismissed my request with no offer of compensation. I wasn’t alone—at least three other groups were dealing with the same issue. No refund, no apology, no resolution. We had no choice but to stay. Expedia eventually offered me $170 - which I still have not received 7 days later. The room itself was another disappointment. It reeked of mold, and even after we left, our clothes still carried the lingering odor. We asked for pool towels and were told they were “in the wash”—on day 4 of our stay. Needless to say, we were unable to use the pool. The food was barely edible. If you enjoy tasteless, overcooked zucchini and Spam, and salt and pepper is too spicy, you’ll feel right at home here. I read several positive reviews before booking this location - I highly suspect they are fake reviews after staying.
