Location is the best perk of this hotel. It’s quite expensive, I was asked to pay almost $300 dollars more when I checked in because my son was older than 13, even though he’s a minor and still eats like a toddler. Other than that, staff are amazing and friendly. I recommend to join their rewards program. This was my 2nd time and they gave me a complimentary tequila plus i free daybed rental! It was awesome!

A priceless experience

This place is magical, very special and truly fascinating. A jungle retreat with modern conveniences! I loved the food, and it was fresh, delicious and beautifully prepared. Sara came to my rescue when I was facing some personal issues. Dominque drove all the way to town to bring me my power cord I forgot. My experience was priceless. At mealtime although all the guests sat together ad we had the best conversations. Soon we all became best friends. I loved my experience and pan on returning soon. A priceless experience.

I will never stay here again. We stayed 3 nights and were moved to 4 different rooms throughout our stay due to multiple issues. I spent more time waiting in line at the front desk than I did in an actual room. From sink problems, to leaking toilet, to someone else being in the room, I packed and unpacked my bags so many times. And the hotel provided no refund and no compensation for all these issues. They thought they they were being so nice by moving us to a room that finally has no issues on our last night, but that’s literally the least they do as that’s exactly what I paid for. All I wanted was a room that functions properly. I paid for 3 nights of a functioning room and I got only 1 with no refund or compensation. Will never stay here again. The staff is so rude too. I met multiple other people at the front desk who were having similar problems with their rooms too so this is not an isolated incident.

The pool was nice, and the beach was beautiful. I liked that I had many other options right out the front door. Many shops and restaurants in a very short walk. I'm looking forward to coming back.

First, the location of this hotel is great - minutes walk from CocoBongo and the other major hotel strip nightclubs, many eateries and a great supermarket. It is on an awesome beach - very clean, white silky soft sand, beautiful warm gentlish blue ocean, no dangerous critters to speak of, wide and nearly flat with no under toe in front of the hotel, and you can walk for miles! We were grateful we did not do the all inclusive. Firstly this website is not sufficiently clear as to what is included in the all inclusive. The buffet we purchased at the hotel was barely edible. The drinks we purchased were not worth drinking. The restaurant meals and room service in the hotel were of a marginal standard. This may be related to the habitual tastes of the patrons. We are from Canada; the vast majority of the other residents at the hotel were locals. We used Uber daily, and found it excellent. It stops on the main road right outside the hotel. We used etransfer for our transfer back to the airport (38 USD) - book ahead online. Uber can't go into the airport. The taxis at the airport try to maintain their monopoly by feeding those arriving a cocktail of partial misinformation and veiled threat. They all quote 85 USD for the approx 20 min ride to the hotel. After repeatedly refusing to pay that, they settled for $50

Our air conditioning in room 1721 could not keep up properly, our clothing felt wet when getting dressed in the morning. Only 1 elevator worked, so took the stairs often, stairwells weren’t always clean. Otherwise, breakfast was very good, ate other meals off property, with a few good options near by. Staff friendly & helpful.
