It was a bit tricky getting into the area. So from the cancun airport you will need to take a taxi or bus to the Puerto Juarez. Then u will need to get a ferry to get to the island with is where the resort is at. But other then that everything else was great.

The property was very pretty. The transportation arranged through them was great. Tacos by the pool were very good. For the amount it costs, I expected better. All inclusive had a bag of peanuts and individual bag of potato chips. Room service got the order wrong more than once. Service was fine. The room is large but not one napkin, paper towel, etc. Absolutely nothing. It was just okay. We have stayed in other resorts that offer so much more.

Great place

This hotel is in the perfect location to Hidalgo street and all it has to offer! I’ve stayed here 10 years in a row and I’ve stayed another places but location wise this hotel is by far the best. The rooms with ocean view are huge and very nice! Only people staying at this hotel can come here so it’s safe. The food and drinks are good. They have the best guacamole and chips and pico by the pool. Service is good. Top up front and you will receive even better service.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at PA. We found the resort to be just as we remembered from our previous stays over a span of about 15 years. The property has been well-maintained, remodeled, and continues to offer a pleasant experience. As in the past, we opted for the all-inclusive package due to its affordability. While we aren't heavy drinkers, we do enjoy having a few drinks and snacks throughout the day, and we felt the package offered good value. It was like 190$ USD each for 6 days. So duhh... Didn’t feel guilty eating lunch or dinner elsewhere if we were out and about. The staff at the resort have always been friendly and accommodating. It's important to remember that you are in Mexico, so language barriers and cultural differences may sometimes affect interactions. In our experience, the staff consistently provided excellent service with a friendly smile. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend PA to others. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay very relaxing and enjoyable! We’ll most likely be back again even though we like trying other locations. We also did a couples massage. It was phenomenal. I highly recommend.

The property was beautiful, and the staff was friendly. Food was good. A very relaxing place to stay.super clean. The only few draw backs was with the elevator was broken a couple days. I had a bad knee, did not like climbing the stairs. Overall, very pleasant vacation.

Oh Isla how we love you soo much! Being on this beautiful, chill island coupled with staying at an incredible resort on playa Norte is fabulous. This is the 2nd time staying at Aluxes and it did not disappoint. We love the small, boutique feel and having the option of doing breakfast only is so perfect. The breakfast buffet is excellent as well as breakfast on the beach. We would get cappuccino every morning at the beach bar, take a stroll on the beach then head to breakfast. During the day, we would split between pool and beach at end of day…you can’t miss those incredible sunsets on playa Norte! It is so fun to head out every night and be able to walk to the many restaurants that Isla has to offer and also the street vendors are the best. Tacos, burritos, churros… all delish! We did chose to do one all inclusive day and it is so worth it for the $$. The cocktails are made well, not watered down and in real glasses! We have been to many all inclusive resorts where the drinks are terrible. The food served, especially the ceviche, at the beach restaurant is sooo good, I would order it every day if I was doing full all inclusive. We rented a golf cart from the hotel which is super easy and just perfect to have one day to get out and explore the island. Our room was a city view, overlooking the cemetery which we thought was soo cool and the best part was we did have a small ocean view to the east and north of us that we did not expect!
