Staff were amazing, location perfect but rooms are a bit bare and tired. Bathrooms need a refresh one of our sinks was cracked and shower leaked

Did not receive room reserved

I paid for a Mountain View room and received a room overlooking the plaza. A prior review noted the same issue and said the hotel required them to pay more for the room they originally reserved. Since this was the end of a hectic three week trip, I just wanted a room. The plaza side is VERY noisy and sleeping in or early may be difficult. Outside of the room issue, the room was clean with a large bathroom. Hotel is in a great location for walking around the waterfront.

The property is in an excellent location for dining and shopping. There is a multitude of choice within a couple of minutes walk. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and nothing seems too much trouble. The rooms are very well appointed, moden and comfortable. The free wifi worked well and was reasonably fast for browsing and streaming. The hotel has an excellent restaurant with plenty of choice. Overall, one of the best places to stay on the V&A Waterfront.

I wont stay there again. Showers are not clean.

Hotel is well located, but i didnt find the reception very friendly upon checkin. We had a room in the last floors so the windows are in the roof, felt tight. The shower has not been cleaned properly in awhile and the grout has black marks on it, i used my flops while i showered. The room needs love and to be cleaned!

This is definitely one of the best hotels on the waterfront and provides great value for the price. The terrace restaurant has excellent food (we had breakfasts, lunches and dinners) at reasonable prices. The room was large and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. We used a guide provided by the hotel for a day of sightseeing and he was excellent. We will definitely return.
