Our stay was mid July 2024.
Overall, it was a large and spacious house, but a couple of the bedrooms were very small. The layout is very unique and lucky it worked for our group. Only one bedroom on the main floor (still some steps to navigate) and the rest are upstairs. Several other previous reviews mention safety concerns & they weren't wrong. Handrails in the wrong place or non existent. One family member was headed out the front door from the dining room and slipped on the tile and fell down 2 steps VERY hard. There was no handrail. While I understand that it's not listed as "handicap accessible" there are still city codes that must be met. Another danger spot was the first step off the concrete landing onto the driveway. The railing doesn’t extend that far and that step is higher, so it's a bit tricky to navigate, especially for older folks.
The river view and sunporch were great, but bring LOTS of bug spray if you want to be outdoors.
No dishwasher, so that was a real bummer to discover. I just assumed it had one & that was my fault for not reading the description closer.
The description says there is a hot tub, but what I think they meant was the bathroom has a jetted tub, and it's small.
The house was generally clean, but I did notice several issues which I addressed directly with the owner & I received a prompt and polite response. All communication with the ower was good before & during the trip.
Overall it was a good stay with a few minor issues.
