Great stay, even in snowy weather
Our families decided to rent the property for a getaway close to the DMV. It was easy to check in, get around Charles Town and enjoy the property. Even with an unexpected 6" of snow, we still found time to appreciate everything the property had to offer.

A beautiful home. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Plenty of space and a big kitchen for cooking. The snacks and food provided was a nice extra. The only complaint was that I attempted three or four emails and three phone calls before I got an answer to my questions about the house.

GREAT vacation getaway!!!
This property is like a self-contained vacation getaway with everything. The house has a mini movie theater, pool table, ping pong table, and tons of games. And the pool with the water slide is AMAZING. Add the gas-powered charcoal fire pit was great for an evening campfire and roasting marshmallows. Everyone had a BLAST. The management company and owner are also EXTREMELY helpful and responsive. Only minor issues worth mentioning are that the listing says there are two pull-out coaches which we did not find (fortunately we had sleeping bags for younger kids) and also there was an issue with one of the HVAC units the first night we were there but the owner helped us resolve it very promptly.

House has everything you need and want!
Our party included 4 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 children. This house was incredible, and we actually didn’t leave a single time in the three days we stayed. Pool provided hours of endless entertainment. Evenings were spent playing pool/ping pong and watching movies in the the other room. We couldn’t believe the amenity baskets that were waiting for us when we arrived and fresh baked cookies. We all agreed we need to come back next year!

Loved it!
We were so pleased that the house and grounds exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, were made to feel very welcome with warm cookies, fruit and snacks and toiletries. The house was just what we were looking for a family of 17. We liked the large kitchen, dining areas, gathering areas, extra refrigerators and enough beds for everyone. And much more! The "homerun" was the beautiful backyard area. It instantly put us in a resort vacay mode! The grandchildren loved the waterslide and grotto. The outdoor surrounding area is very peaceful. We enjoyed viewing deer and foxes. We truly appreciate all that it takes to maintain this beautiful property. We have already booked again for next year.

It was heaven
Family of 17s yearly vacation. This was by far the best trip yet. House was amazing our hosts went above and beyond, baskets of goodies in kitchen, fresh fruit basket, and just in case you forgot your toothbrush all bathrooms had basket of toiletries. The amazing pool with waterfall and slide is where we spent most of our time. Plenty to do in the area. The caverns and Harper’s Ferry were our favorites. Definitely going back.

Perfect Stay!
Everything about our stay was perfect from beginning to end! The check-in process was easy and arriving in the house was so welcoming! The hosts went above and beyond with the extra touches of drinks in the fridge to the bathroom baskets and snack baskets to the fully stocked coffee bar. There were 16 of us and we had so much space and enjoyed our stay! We were disappointed that the weather didnt cooperate for us to use the outside oasis. It was absolutely beautiful! We would recommend to anyone!

Amazing Stay in Winter (and Summer)
This property was everything I could've dreamt of and more. The space was amazing, the kitchen was great for all of us to make food and gather, we loved having breakfast at the dining table together as a group. The hot tub was fantastic and we would love to come back during the summer to use that pool and slide! The entertainment room was a big hit; lots of games were played and enjoyed. A couple beds were a little squeaky, but there was so much extra space for folks to sleep elsewhere. They had fresh cookies for us before arrival and the listing is 100% accurate. You won't regret your stay here.

Great stay!
We loved this home. It was well set up with everything we needed in the kitchen as well as so much space to hangout! One issue to note is that according the the listing there was supposed to be 2 pull out beds but there was none. Luckily our group is very go with the flow and we made do with makeshift beds using couches and cushions. Would definitely return!

Bring Nothing ...
Once we all got there and looked around, I told everyone that my review was going to be entitled "Bring Nothing". We, as a family, have stayed at VRBO homes all over the East Coast and a few on the West Coast. We have a checklist that we share to bring what we'll all need for the week so that we're not all bringing multiples of everything. Yeah ... No need. Everything was there - from paper goods to condiments to staples to sheets, towels, pool towels, pool toys, games, popcorn for the theatre room, snacks, fruit, water, coffee, shampoos, other bathroom essentials - it was amazing. The company was easy to deal with and communicated well as far as check in, check out and answering questions. The only thing we wished they had, in their otherwise extremely well stocked kitchen, was a 12 cup coffee pot. There is a small 4 cup pot and a Keurig with filters/coffee/pods for both, but so many if us drink coffee in the mornings that we all got really good at making the 4 cup over and over. We had a wonderful time, between the hot tub, the pool, the theatre room and the game room for those that wanted those things and plenty of space to just sit, read, talk, nap for those who didn't. Charles Town is a nice town to walk around and Harper's Ferry is as well with some great Civil War history and wonderful hiking trails that some of us took advantage of several times. We were even able to get to the national aquarium in Baltimore (90 min away) SO worth it Book this one & bring nothing.

The property was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. The pool was fantastic! The house was fantastic! Very well stocked with coffee, fruit, snacks, juices, even cheese and meats. It was a unanimous decision by all that we will go back again next year for a family vacation.

We had a great stay in Charles Town. The house had so many amenities that we never needed to leave over our 3 day stay. We really enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space and theater room. The kitchen was well stocked. The owner was great with communication. We already booked for next summer for a return stay!

We had a great time celebrating with family
We had 7 adults and 9 kids and for very comfortably. The house is beautiful. Communication was great! We primarily stayed at the pool all day and cooked at the outdoor kitchen while ch everyone loved. The only thing a little strange is there is a cabin on the property with whom I assume are grounds keepers yet they never introduced themselves we would just see them moving about (feeding fish near pool slide, mowing the lawn, adding water to the pool, etc) definitely not a negative just seemed a little strange. We did spot a mouse and large inspect in the home but property management quickly responded that they would get pest control out. The kids absolutely loved the movie room and Charles town was super cute

Wonderful Friends Trip
This place is phenomenal and just as listed! We had a group of 15 ages ranging from 4-38 and everyone had their own space and comfort! The host was very accommodating and left us lots of surprises and treats upon arrival! The pool was just what the kids needed for a long weekend, as well as, the theater room! This house had anything and everything we could have wanted and needed, that we never left during our stay! I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in Charles Town!
