This experience was awful. We couldnât sit in any of the living room furniture because it is so old and dirty. This was a huge inconvenience. We hated this place. The rugs were filthy as were all the vents. Never, ever again!
The home has been well-updated. Each room had very nice beds. We had 4 people staying and the space was just big enough. Even though there are 3 bedrooms, it would be a tight squeeze for 6 adults to stay there, only because the living space and kitchen are very small. Since we were out and about each day, it wasn't too much of an issue. We did appreciate the white noise machines in each bedroom because outside noise was easy to hear. The machines helped alleviate that small concern. The location was convenient to many local restaurants/coffee shops within walking distance. The staff was very easy to contact with any questions and responded quickly.
It was absolutely perfect. It was very close to MUSC childrens hospital where we needed be as our grandson is there on the cardiac floor. Thank you so much for a beautiful place to call home for a a very hard week.
We had to drive to get everywhere. It took us about 8 minutes to get to where the restaurants and shopping and everything else were in a car. Other than that, the place was nice. Just too far away.
The Julep Suite was perfect! We loved the updated bathrooms and cleanliness. Itâs in a great location to all things downtown and we felt safe. I also appreciate (and prefer) hardwood floors (no carpet), which The Julep Suite gives you. We arrived a little early with food and were allowed to check in with the help of customer service. When I come back to Charleston, I would stay here again.
Overall, our stay was fine. Unfortunately, there was difficulty checking in because the codes did not work. The refrigerator had issues cooling, the lights flickered in the living area, and there was no hand towel in one of the bathrooms for drying our hands. Despite these inconveniences, the staff was very polite and responsive to our needs. The place was clean and in a convenient location. I would not recommend a 3rd floor stay if youâre hauling a lot of luggage/food.
