Perfect home, in a perfect area for family gatherings
This beautiful home nestled in a quiet neighborhood is located near everything that makes northern Michigan the special place that it is. The host has made sure the home is well stocked in all ways. The kitchen is fully equipped which made preparing meals so easy. The host provides excellent communication and is attentive to details. I highly recommend this property. Lake Michigan is a block away, a small area ski hill is nearby and there are many great waking trails to explore. explore.trails.wakingskverything

Just what we needed.
The house was a perfect spot for the Castle Farms wedding we attended. Really appreciated the kitchen countertops!!! So much room to spread out. It was also nice to have the attached room. My nephew was able to have his own entrance and bathroom. Note: The ensuite can be accessed either from the outside or through the garage. My only negative was the amount of leaves while getting in. Granted, it was fall, but the pile to the front door was WAY too much.

Great home, great location
Two families, 5 kids total 11 and under. The home was wonderful. The quiet neighborhood and proximity to Mt. McSauba recreation area made this a perfect stay for us. We loved the beach time. We loved the walks through the woods. We loved the lack of crowds. The kids could play and scooter through the neighborhood with little worry of cars. A great place for a family vacation.

Secluded hideaway
We just wrapped up a great stay with our adult children and their spouses. The house is in a fantastic location. You can bike the neighborhood with almost no traffic, and can connect to the wheelway if you want to ride a great bike path to Petoskey and beyond. Walk across the street and you can hike in a nature preserve. A short walk through the dunes will put you on the lake. It comfortably houses 8 adults, and we cooked most of our dinners at home with a well appointed kitchen and gas grill. Definitely a place I would visit again!

Wonderful Getaway
Staying here was a very positive experience for my family and me. The home was equipped with much more than the bare essentials. The home had a full kitchen with everything you needed to make meals, beach equipment and toys, and plenty of games/books/movies for the kids. The location of the home is within an hour(ish) of top attractions like Traverse City, Mackinac Island, Petoskey, and more. The host was quick to respond and made check-in very simple. Would highly recommend.

We had a great time staying at your property. It was ideal with the separated bedrooms and bathrooms, made it easy to stay there with 7 adults. The house is really nicely equipped with everything you need. Would come again, since this is really a nice area in general.

Perfect!
We stayed here to go skiing with the family and also celebrate a milestone birthday. The host was super helpful before our stay and very helpful with any questions I had. The house was so nice and equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was the main reason I booked this stay- it didn’t disappoint! But we loved the location also. We would definitely recommend!

Nice place. Enjoyed our stay. Great location. Beds were very comfy. Could use more exterior lights. Very high fees on top of the price of the stay. Additional fees were approximately the amount of one night stay. Too high.

A great location with an easy walk to either rock beach or sand beach. Well equipped for dine in and entertainment. Did not use outdoor patio but looked very inviting, as well as hot tub. It was perfectly suited for our 6 adult gathering.

Best Kitchen ever.
The property provided plenty of space for all ages. We had Seniors to active small boys. The boys enjoyed the yard and quiet roads. We brought scooters for them and plenty of area to ride safely. They even had a bench out front for Nana to watch them. The suite off the garage provided an escape from all the activity. The kitchen…. We always cook most meals. I have done VRBO many times and this was the best ever. !!! Plenty of utensils, room and pots and pans. Bedrooms, bathrooms, outdoor space all we’re comfortable and well maintained . Great location
The location was convenient and close to the things we wanted to do/see in the area. The kitchen was nice/clean and had everything we needed. The beds were clean and comfortable. The outside seats/deck area could use a little cleaning up so they could be utilized. However, there are a lot of trees covering the house so I understand it's difficult at times. Also, the neighbors next door had a party one day with a band. Luckily we were out all that day so we didn't have to listen to the noise. Overall, I would stay again.
