Our family of 5 plus our dog had a great stay at Mud Creek. Brandon was very communicative before and during the stay, and even had a bug zapper dropped off when we found out the one at the house wasn't working. Our kids loved fishing off the pier and taking the kayaks out and doing a little exploring. All of the amenities were included, literally the only thing we could have used that wasn't there was a pitcher for juice and long-handled lighter for the fire pit. Otherwise the place was great!

Mud creek wasn’t as described. The game room was very tiny for teenagers. It was one of the major reasons for choosing the place, but the kids couldn’t even hang out in there. Another misconception was the sleeping options in the living room. The couch didn’t fold out and the chair was uncomfortable. While the place seemed clean, upon further inspection, my husband found dog poop in a corner. There are so many bugs at the creek that it was very hard to hang out outside. They should have bug zappers around the property.

Great time at mud creek cabin!

We stayed here with our small family which included two small children and our dog! Our dog loved the big yard to fetch :) Everyone had a blast on the property and enjoyed the cabin. It was so nice having a full kitchen as well as we grilled outside. It was HOT outside during our stay so we appreciated AC units in every room, even in the game room. Brandon was a fantastic host and checked in mid stay to see if we needed anything. His communication was always prompt which I appreciated as well. We will stay here again!

Peaceful getaway

This was a perfect place for our trip to visit family and Mackinac Island. Very quiet and had everything we needed. We didnt have time to enjoy the extras but the kayaks and separate game room would be great for someone that was there longer. Would definitely stay again.

Cozy Cabin by the Creek

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights with our 2 dogs. The cabin was very clean, cozy and quiet! It’s in the woods by the cute creek so make sure you have bug spray! The Alverno Market was close by and had most everything you’d need including fresh hand sliced bacon to order. Was a nice place to stay for our trip to Mackinaw City/ Island.

Peaceful Cabin

Our stay at the cabin was great. We really enjoyed the peacefulness. It was in a perfect location for all the places we went and stopped at. We enjoyed staying in and cooking. Everything you needed to make meals with was there. We saw some fish in the river and enjoyed walking around the property. Brandon was great to get in touch with. He responded quickly when we had a few questions. Everything was great. Would for sure stay here again.

Dont stay here if you're pulling a big trailer

I lost my phone and my host brandon never returned my wifes calls or messages. Luckily i remembered i have gmail on my phone, or i never wouldve got in. Also the driveway had 2 feet of snow in it, and there is nowhere to turn a snowmobile hauling rig around.

The cabin is not for this large of a group, but otherwise it was absolutely perfect. Bring bug spray! the boys loved the game room and as a base it was well located.

we were there only 2 nights because we were going to Mackinaw but really liked the place. Me and my granddaughter enjoyed the game room. I would stay there again. It was very comfortable.

Great up north adventure

Stayed here with my Grandkids and they enjoyed it very much. The cabin has a nice setup and has everything you need. There are swimming areas nearby and a waterfall with swimming and great places to eat.

From start to finish, our experience with Brandon & Mud Creek Cottage was fantastic! Had all the amenities and charm one could ask for in an up north cottage. We loved it and hope to rent again. One minor suggestion is to add small bedside lamps. Otherwise, 100% satisfied. Don’t hesitate to rent Mid Creek Cottage!

Great northern Michigan getaway!

Quaint Family Getaway

Just what we needed
quiet & homey. We wanted to do it all, so we picked this cottage that was close enough to Mackinac Island, near woods for ATV-ing, family game nights & s’mores around the fire. Mud Creek didn’t disappoint!

Memory Making

Had an amazing time with my family making memories to last a lifetime. I grew up most of my life coming up to the area and my parents had lived near the location. My girls enjoyed kayaking everyday, bon fire đŸ”„, hearing the elk bugle, fishing in the river, Ocqueoc falls, and making big dinners. The game room is a great space too. My girls want to come back every year.
