Don’t forget the smokers please!

It was a lovely hotel in a great location but the smoking area was very poor. It was just a corner in the car park. Nowhere to sit and relax and the ashtray on the wall was broken. Very much like an after thought. A bench would have been lovely there and an easy solution.

Overall the hotel feels dark, cramped and slightly shabby. Complicated story, but ended up with a cold room service meal for which I was double charged. The reception struggled to refund one of the charges, but did eventually get it sorted the next day. That was followed by a meal in the restaurant which managed to stay in my stomach for about 60 minutes, before it came through my system explosively over the next 12 hours. Disappointed.

The room was really good value for money and the bed was very comfortable. The tv was in a strange position so was difficult to comfortably watch tv. The pool looks a lot bigger in the photos but it is quite a bit smaller than I thought when booking it. Overall it was a very good stay.
