Quick Trip

It was fine other than the tub. It could have been a little better. Also, I had to call down for someone to explain how to get YouTube on the TV. They sent an engineer up, who admitted that he knew nothing about that part of the TV, so we had to continue watching on my IPad. Also the reception snacks has really decreased over the years. The drinks were good but the snacks need improving.

Where do I start? The valet parking was difficult to find at night and in the snow (it was not lit). I called the hotel, and the person who answered could barely explain the valet access location. When we asked if there was alternative parking we were met with, “go look at Google maps”. Valet is $80/night btw. There was no conditioner or body wash in the shower and nobody answers the phone at the front desk to handle issues. I had to track down a housekeeper in another room and she only had conditioner (why do I have to hunt someone down?). There was no water pressure in the shower, the “hot” water was luke warm, and the shower curtain had multiple tears. The made to order omelette tasted like it was grilled on top of yesterday’s lunch and the coffee was barely drinkable. Additionally, the live tv for the kids was jumping and pausing every few seconds. All of this and who can handle the issues if nobody answers the phone st the front desk? Great location, but we will not be staying here again. If you like the Hilton brand, this hotel does not meet the standards.
