This property is situated in a very convenient location with easy access to shopping, local attractions and restaurants. The room was very clean, in good condition and even had a decent view considering the location. The room had a large fridge with a freezer and a microwave which were very useful to us during our stay. Parking in Chicago is somewhat tough to find. The hotel offers valet parking but it is quite expensive. We used the hotel parking regardless of the price just for the convenience and peace of mind. The only thing we noted about the room's condition was the kitchen sink would leak a little bit whenever we used it. Other than that the room was in pristine condition. We would definitely come back here again if we decide to visit Chicago again in the future.

Pool was nice, but some group of teenager from outside were there making it unconfortable. Breakfast on sunday had little to no food. But Monday breakfast was great. Wafles and bacon and other stuff that was not there on Sunday.

Birthday Stay

The room, was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The only small nonstellar aspect was the couch bed. The mattress was terrible and I felt folded like a taco. We were grateful for the pool and plenty of hot water in the showers.

Very nice hot breakfast. However, the sheets in my room had obviously not been cleaned. There were hairs from the last guest all over my pillowcase, eww! Wallpaper is peeling from the walls, bathroom looked like it needed a good scrub, only one of the elevators was working, so we had to go down 9 flights of stairs multiple times over the weekend. The breakfast was good, but that was about it. The building seriously needs updates, and the staff needs to actually clean the rooms between guests.

Solid choice, once again!

Our family keeps returning to this hotel. Great location, comfy and clean though a bit dated rooms, good breakfast, and last, but not least, the friendliest staff around, many of whom have been around for years! We also really appreciate the effort to cut down on single use plastics: soap and shampoo are in wall mounted dispensers, and real plates, cups, and silverware are used for breakfast. We look forward to returning!

I had a fantastic stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago-Downtown! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. I made a mistake with my reservation, which caused some issues with my booking. However, the hotel staff was incredibly professional and understanding. She went above and beyond to assist me, working with me and Expedia to find a solution. Thanks to their patience and outstanding service, I was able to resolve everything smoothly and enjoy my stay. I truly appreciate their kindness and professionalism, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chicago!

Oh my gosh, I have never had such a wonderful experience with a hotel before! The staff is absolutely wonderful, especially Courtney. She answered every question that we had and was more than accommodating. The room was absolutely gorgeous and I have not one single complaint. We will definitely stay here again!!!!
