Front desk area is odd. Gal was super hard to understand. I asked about my Expedia Gold perks and she just kind of stared at her computer. She also said something about a resort fee but I honestly didn’t understand what she said even after repeating it three times. Was told to come to the front desk if we needed extra towels…the breakfast in the morning was plentiful and in the evening they had wine or beer. Wine was nice! Jose was great.

One of the worst dtown hotels. Workers are rude. It’s like they don’t want to be there. I was there one night. Imagine I stayed a week! Ugh

The hotel is very quiet though in the heart of party ville in Chicago. Have never stayed there in the peak summer months or during big events.

Lovely Boutique Hotel in the middle of it all

We enjoyed our stay very much - from the courteous custodian and housekeeping to the professional and lovely front desk staff - well appointed rooms with a comfortable couch and bed, we slept very well and loved the location! will stay here again and again

For staying at a 4 star hotel, we expected more. We checked in at 730p and the front desk guy wasn't welcoming or informative at all. I asked about parking, and he failed to mention that they charge a $25 service fee every night along with the $75/night fee for overnight valet parking - which I thought was sneaky. I chose this place because of its price just to actually be spending an additional $300 just for parking - which was convenient but too expensive. It almost cost as much as the stay for the 3 nights! One of our pillows had a blood stain, and it was turned upside down probably hoping we didnt see it. Very unsanitary. Breakfast was offered, but nothing is fresh. No scrambled eggs or sausage or bacon. You can make your own waffle along with maple syrup, but no fresh fruits were offered. Those cold pre-bagged boiled eggs were offered along with warmed gas station croissant sandwiches. It was a disappointment. Additionally, we asked for someone to bring us a cart to load our luggage and waited 15 minutes but nobody came. I dont understand how the message got lost. On a positive note, we received one free drink every night for staying there, available only at a certain time period. They offered us some water bottles when we left the hotel for the day. When we checked out, the front desk lady offered to help me load things into my car. All in all, we most likely will not be coming back and stick to the original hotels we usually stay in.

Amazing hotel! Great location and very clean and cozy room. We loved the spacious gym and the breakfast and Happy Hour with 2 free drinks was a great bonus! We will definitely stay here again!

Overall not a bad stay, upon arrival we were given the wrong 2 rooms we booked, when brought to their attention we were given the correct rooms but with NO city view which is what we paid extra for, then they gave us 1 higher room but kept the 2nd room at a lower floor so that was disappointing, not included in our price was also additional charge of taxes on their “destination/resort fee,” this was ridiculous seeing as it covers a basic breakfast use of the gym and conference room don’t see how that justifies $35 per person, the rooms are definitely outdated compared to the current pics online, for offseason price it was ok but I wouldn’t stay here if they charged more
