Castleton est une annexe de caractère à deux étages très bien aménagée, proche du centre-ville de Chichester et du circuit de Goodwood (parfait pour Revival).
L'annexe elle-même offre un grand coin salon et salle à manger, avec la cuisine en retrait dans un coin. Vous pouvez vous détendre sur les canapés très confortables et les nuits plus froides et vous réchauffer sous une couverture en regardant la télévision intelligente. Le coin cuisine est bien équipé et comprend une bouilloire, une cafetière Delongi, une cuisinière, un réfrigérateur, un congélateur, un four micro-ondes et un grille-pain.
A l'étage, il y a une grande chambre lumineuse avec un lit king size (peut être divisé en 2 lits simples) et une salle de douche attenante.
Cette propriété offre également WIFI et une place de parking pour une voiture.
Castleton est à seulement quelques minutes de marche du centre-ville de Chichester. Il est également à distance de marche du célèbre Festival Theatre et de la cathédrale, ainsi que des magasins locaux et plus grands, ce qui en fait un endroit idéal à partir duquel se baser. Chichester est une ville historique avec de fortes connexions romaines et a un énorme éventail de choses à faire et lieux à visiter. La ville est dotée d'une belle architecture, avec beaucoup de soin pour préserver son caractère. Les anciens remparts entourent le centre-ville et on peut les longer à travers divers parcs pittoresques. Juste au nord de Chichester sont les magnifiques South Downs, avec une belle campagne vallonnée et aussi de nombreux villages pittoresques Downland. Il y a la piste de courses de chevaux Goodwood à visiter, ainsi que les événements de sports motorisés de renommée mondiale qui ont lieu chaque année, comme le Festival of Speed ​​et Goodwood Revival. Le golf est également disponible à Goodwood et le polo à Cowdray Park, près de Midhurst, est juste une courte distance en voiture. Il y a une excellente navigation dans le port de Chichester, ainsi que de la planche à voile aux Witterings et de la plongée à Bracklesham Bay. Londres est à moins de 2 heures, en voiture ou en train.

Could not have been better
Really excellent stay. Castleton is immaculate and a credit to the owners Richard and Astrid who were very friendly and offered helpful advice about the are. The annexe was furnished and equipped to a very high standard with everything that you could need for a short break. Chichester is delightful and the walks in and around Chichester Harbour were stunning. Would recommend East Head at West Wittering, Bosham and in particular going to Chichester Marina to catch the sunset. Cant wait to come back.

Fantastic Cottage
Fantastic cottage, ideally located for city centre, private, free parking, very quiet. Beautiful garden to sit in and enjoy the sunshine. Lots of written local information. Friendly, helpful owners, we had car trouble during our stay, owners were very supportive. We had some lovely treats waiting for us on our arrival, much appreciated. We would certainly stay again and will be recommending the cottage to family and friends. A week wasn't long enough to visit all the local attractions.

Beautiful place for two - can't wait to come back!
We easily found Castleton Cottage using the excellent directions provided. The dedicated parking space was appreciated. Check-in was simple, using the lockbox at the gate. The welcome goodies were wonderful – we polished off every one of Astrid’s lovely homemade squares. Cream waiting in a nice pitcher in the fridge was so nice – we could make ourselves a cup of coffee on arrival and settle right in. Castleton is wonderful – it is beautifully decorated and has a vintage charm with fab modern convenience. Given our visit was in November, the heated floors in the kitchen and living room were much appreciated. I loved the two beautiful floral arrangements – lovely touch! The binder full of information was a very handy item – we used a lot of that local knowledge during our stay. We enjoyed talking to owners Astrid and Richard (made us feel so welcome) – we were in England to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday and had his birthday dinner at the pub they recommended – the Royal Oak in East Lavant. The service and meal were excellent; it’s the kind of pub my Western Canadian heart delights in - and we were pleased to find Richard there, and shared a drink and a conversation. Practically felt like a local! (I would like to be!) There is lots to do in the area, and Castleton is well situated. On the Sunday we were there, we did not even move our car – we strolled the easy walk to the vibrant city centre, and enjoyed a fabulous afternoon there (I love charity shops, and there are plenty of good ones to peruse!). This apartment is gorgeous, bright, sunny, spacious and absolutely perfect for two. Sometimes accommodations have a hodgepodge of dishes and linens – not so with this place – everything was coordinated and of very high quality. The kitchen is well equipped – although there are lots of great places to eat out in the area. The bed and bedding in the spacious bedroom are luxurious, and I admired the perfect placement of the skylight in the bathroom to enjoy the view of the sky while showering. We definitely plan to stay at Castleton again. We spent the best part of an afternoon at Goodwood, despite the fact there were no events at the time we were there – we will come back to go to one, and staying at Castleton would be the cherry on top of that future visit! Thanks for sharing this lovely place with us!

Eine hervorragende und uneingeschränkt zu empfehlende Unterkunft für 2 Personen.
Die Unterkunft bietet viel Platz, ist sehr geschmackvoll mit neuem hochwertigen Mobiliar eingerichtet. Die Realität übertrifft sogar noch die Fotos. Das betrifft auch die komplette reichhaltige Küchen- und Badeinrichtung. Das Schlafzimmer ist sehr großzügig bemessen und es gibt überdurchschnittlich viele Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Betten sind hervorragend. Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, ohne es an Distanz fehlen zu lassen.

A Little Gem
This recently constructed annexe offers perfect accommodation for a couple. Very nicely appointed throughout and with views over the owners beautiful garden with a shared courtyard seating area. The owners, Richard and Astrid, are sociable hosts who are more than willing to share advice on the area and eateries.

A great little find
Immaculately presented and maintained, the accommodation has a well-equipped kitchen, nicely furnished living room and bedroom and a perfect en suite shower room. In fine weather we were able to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine. Chichester’s city centre is no more than a mile down the road; a network of footpaths begins close by; and the city is well placed for days at the coast and in the South Downs. The owners were charming and very helpful and we would happily return.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung zum Wohlfühlen
Die Ferienwohnung ist gerade neu erstellt. Wir waren erst die 3. Mieter. Es fehlt quasi an nichts und die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit. Die Lage im Ort von Chichester ist sehr ruhig und der Parkplatz ist genau vor der Haustür. In der Umgebung gibt es neben Chichester viel zu sehen.
