I found the St Pancras property while looking to stay near my parents. I’ve lived to Chichester previously and the property is in what I would call a “Goldilocks zone” - walking distance without the hassle of being inside the city walls.
The property itself has serious history - combining an 1800's 2-up, 2-down with a very nice modern refurb and extension. It is light and airy inside, well appointed, very clean and spacious. Beyond the lovely very private garden, there is an off-street parking space for one car in the quite narrow alley around the back - compact 4 door car fitted pretty well with some maneuvering, and overnight/weekend parking out front on St Pancras. Upstairs, comfortable bedroom for mum and dad, a second bedroom with bunk beds, toilet/bath/shower, and upstair again a pair of twin beds in the attic room.
The property is located less than 5mins from the pedestrian city center. Within 1/2mi walking there is great restaurants, pubs, takeaways, a fantastic wine store, great coffee, M+S food and more. The neighbourhood is quiet at night and very safe.
I stayed for almost a week, and enjoyed exercising every day on the local trails out to Bosham, Mundham, and Lavant. It was a perfect base for me visiting one of my parents in hospital, while "working from home", as well as getting out and about in area.
