Clean, convenient location, friendly staff. We enjoyed three nights in this hotel. Close to restaurants and easy walks around it. Very basic amenities. Breakfast food wasn’t the best, and they should offer better coffee quality in a city that prides itself on coffee offerings. Other than that, happy overall.

The location was perfect—right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance (5–10 minutes) of the rental car office, restaurants, and more. Overall, I had a great experience. The only downside was that I found the restaurant staff to be a bit unfriendly. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Christchurch.

Certainly! Here's a review for your stay at Novotel Christchurch Cathedral Square: --- Novotel Christchurch Cathedral Square had a fantastic experience. The room was incredibly comfortable, equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. The hotel's location is perfect—it's within walking distance to beautiful parks and a variety of shops, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Christchurch!
