My son, who is in the navy, and I stayed here for just under a week. We stayed in one of their newly renovated rooms. I have no complaints, it was wonderful. The beds were heaven soft, the room is clean, they would clean every day depending on what we needed. Nice updated tv, bathroom was nice, tub/shower. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially Tiffany, and Paco? Pablo? (I had a lil swimmers ear) every morning greeted with a smile and hello. The pool and hot tub also clean and nice. The daily breakfast was amazing great options and they changed daily. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. You will love it, I did.

The staff from the moment you enter is very attentive and friendly. The hotel was very clean and the room was spotless and smelled very good. The breakfast area was very good very clean and with good options to choose. Definitely would recommend it and come back too.

It is always a treat to be at a Holiday Inn Express, staff was friendly and accommodating, breakfast was delicious and room was outstanding, love the bathroom, and the toiletries, everything smelled clean, and bed was super comfortable.

The hotel is nice, newly renovated, clean. Lots of local restaurants in the area. The room we stayed at is spacious. The mattress on the couch bed is firm and already put together. Lots of USB plugs available. Bathroom area is big. It has wall pump shampoo, conditioner and body wash, hand soap and body lotion available inside. This hotel uses good quality products not generic. The hotel dining area is small but it makes up for the quality of food they serve, again not generic. Not a big fan of their automated pancake maker. It doesn’t cook right. Other than that we are very pleased with the overall service.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable no complaints. Quiet rooms. Breakfast was really good. Potatoes was my favorites, variety of items to choose from just wish they had sausage also with the bacon. The one complaint would be is the oatmeal was watery didn’t even try. It didn’t look like it was fully cooked.

We day we got to the hotel there had been a global outage that affected many hotels and airlines so the internet was down but the staff was very nice and helpful they where able to check us in, the room was clean and breakfast was good

Comfy and Affordable Hotel
Great hotel in Chula Vista, 15 mins from San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld or downtown San Diego. Friendly staff, decent breakfast, Suite was comfy with plenty of room for our family of 5 ("kids" are 22, 20, and 16). Will definitely stay there again when we make a trip to San Diego.

Overall I’m surprised by this hotel. Our room was very clean and we were greeted really well at the front desk. Free parking which was a plus and being near the freeway was convenient.
