Definitely better than the available motels in the area. House was clean although there are some items that should be addressed. Shower Hot/cold mixer valve not working properly, chair at table feels like itâs ready to break. Garbage outside was already half full so we had to cram ours into it, blinds need replaced for privacy as they had some sections missing in the bedroom and water constantly dripped in the guest shower bathroom, not a big deal but became annoying at night when sleeping and they outside yard and patio could use some attention. Inside amenities were all clean and plenty of space to hang out. Nice to come back to at the end of the day. For the price and location we would definitely stay again
Circleville is quite small, but it was where we needed to stop for the night. There was a small but adequate grocery store. We definitely recommend Butch Cassidy restaurant. The house was clean and well equipped. we were pleased that it lived up to the listing
Great location to stay at if you want to enjoy the outdoors. Otter Creek and Piute Reservoir are close by for fishing. Piute trails are a short drive away and great for ATV's/OHV's. House is comfortable with lots of seating around the tv to relax after the day's activities. Comfortable beds with lots of blankets and pillows for sleep. Well stocked kitchen. Fire ring in the backyard to enjoy during the evenings and see all the stars.
Clean, quiet and comfortable. It was a little hot the first night, but after that is was fine. Was a little worried about being right on the highway, but you really couldn't even tell. Appreciated the covered parking and the Keurig. Would stay here again if in the area.
We went to help our 4th grader prepare for a county report. The stay was great, and we even got to take a stop at Bryce Canyon too! It was a great home base for our adventures.
the home was very comfortable. next time we will bring our kindle fire stick. very convieient not to have to bring every household necessity. we set the crock pot provided on low and we ice fished during the day and came home to ready made hot meal. location was great. owners were very nice to deal with - parking was the only negative but nothing that could not be worked out.
Beautiful little property located between Panguitch and Otter Creek reservoir. If you like fishing the area this is the place to stay. Super clean property and the property manager was readily available. Definitely five stars.
We really wanted to like this house, but I guess you get what you pay for.
We usually stay in Kingston, a great house with actually a similar layout as this house, they're both double wide trailers. We knew the house was dated looking and we were fine with that. But when it's over 100F in Circleville, it becomes very uncomfortable quickly without sufficient AC. We arrived to the house after 4pm and the AC was barely on cool, again, over 100F outside. The house never cooled off fully the 1st night and was uncomfortable every night of our 4 night stay until about 1am when the AC could finally catch up and cool the house down. We were under the impression the house had central air/heat. This house has a window unit that had to be cranked to 62 on high the entire time just to try and keep the living room cool. We also learned you cannot use the oven at all since it heats up the entire house. The overall cleanliness and ability to keep the property clean was just ok. We found dirty baking sheets in the oven. There is no garbage disposal in kitchen sink. There's only 1 small garbage can outside for trash so when that filled up, we had to leave trash bags out and then raccoons would attack the bags and leave a huge mess everywhere, every morning. We were only supplied with 2 rolls of TP and paper towels for a house that sleeps 8 for 4 nights. The beds were extremely old and uncomfortable and the house just seems like it needs work. The TV is VERY old and had zero internet or cable as advertised, unless you consider 12 local channels "cable." There were like 12 DVD's for your viewing pleasure. Bring a 25ft Cat 6 cable or RJ45 dongle if you want your TV connected to the internet!
There was 1 part that we liked was the cat in the backyard that would come visit us. He came right up when I checked in and hung out the entire time. I gave him water and we fed him during the trip. He answers to "Angus" and should be adopted. Please see he gets a good home.
We ended up staying in Circleville for two nights as we rode the back country of Bryce Canyon. This place is a house right on the main highway, but there werenât many cars driving through town in the middle of the night.
We really didnât have any issues except for the planned power outage in the middle of the night that we were not aware of. It was pretty creepy while we figured out what was going on. I had the kids up and we had one flashlight as we walked outside to a very dark and eerie city in the middle of nowhere. It was like a scary movie! That being said I decided to start talking with my kids about the eeriness of it and the scary things that were going on and asking them if there was a graveyard nearby (I knew we passed one on the way into town). I really started pouring more fuel on the fire and made it feel like something out of a horror movie. I really got the kids adrenaline going as I talked about the possible âghostsâ or âkillerâ that was lurking around the bend and things that could happen to us as the killer was waiting to attack as we walked around outside looking for any lights coming from houses nearby. Anyway it was fun!
If you need to stay in Circleville this is a decent place!
