This was a last minute booking to get out of town. Less than 48 hours after booking there was an ice event in the PNW effecting plans and ultimate travel. Property mgmt wasn’t flexible in cancelling since it was within the cancellation window (through I just reserved). Ultimately made it to the house and it was one of the cleanest VRBO’s I’ve ever stayed in. It was a shame the storm we arrived in knocked out the power leaving us without heat. The house was WiFi, if there is power, otherwise to make a call you have to be outside (in a storm) by the road. The after-hours PM customer service was frustrating to work with, not helpful, but responsive. Without power, King Tides flooding the area, with a medically sensitive situation (and no guarantee of power before dark, but rest assured the PM let me know there was an extra blanket in the closet) - we left after the first night into paying for all five nights. Only property complaint was about the hot tub, it needed service. PM said they would send someone, none the less, we weren’t there to confirm if it happened. Shame on the PM and I wish I could go back and complete my stay for a true property review.
