The property is lovely, spacious, spotlessly clean and with two bathrooms (great for us, with two teenagers). The outdoor space is lovely but is shared with the apartment above. The village is stunning with its beautiful bay and tranquil water; we swam there morning and evening (make sure you have beach shoes as all the beaches around Agios Stefanos are pebbly). There are beautiful sunrises if you're up early and this is the quietest time of the day before the village begins to bustle. It's a busy village with lots of people hiring boats and dining in the tavernas; we found these quite pricey but there is a supermarket practically next to the apartment so you can easily cook for yourself. There are lovely beaches, with few or no people on them, within walking distance round the coast path and busier Kerasia beach, a five-minute drive away, with a bar and a taverna and kayak/pedalo/SUP hire, is really beautiful. You are also close to Kassiopi (we'd recommend the coast road via Avlaki beach) if you want a bigger place to visit and George Taxi to Corfu Town is fun. There are plenty of places to hire a boat in the village. We had a really lovely stay at Agios Stefanos, a fabulous place to celebrate my son's 17th birthday. It was lovely that Victoria, her husband and little son were there to welcome us when we arrived and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Victoria was always quick to respond to any queries both prior to our arrival and during our stay, providing us with lots of helpful information. She clearly takes a lot of pride in Elsa House. We're missing it already!
