We arrived to find the house unlocked, dirty, and in attempting to solve the issue, Vacasa became unresponsive. We immediately called Vacasa and they had a local rep call us. They said a housekeeper would be sent over immediately. Several hours later, a housekeeper came. When we returned to the house, it was obvious sheets had not been changed, floors were filthy (crumbs and trash on floors of all levels), and dirty dishes were in the kitchen. We called Vacasa again and asked for someone to at least bring clean sheets. No one ever came. From that point forward, phone calls and emails were not responded to. We spent the evening washing all linens and remaking the beds and cleaning the house. In addition, Vacasa admitted there was an issue because a "welcome basket" containing items such as paper towels was not at the house. So we also had to make a run to the store and purchase paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies. After the stay I reached out again to Vacasa and they have continuted to be unresponsive. I have even offered to send them pictures of the piles of items we had to sweep up. Will never stay at a Vacasa managed house again.
