Perfect beach house!
We were very impressed with all aspects of the property and would stay again. The descriptions and images were accurate and the house and was even better than expected. All appliances and AC were great, all the kitchen items you would need, so many towels, outdoor shower etc.

Perfect home in perfect location
This is my second stay at LP8. The tiny neighborhood is perfect, the walkway to the beach is right next to the house and the house is delightful. Clean as can be, comfy beds, TVs in every room, great deck on the back and an underneath parking and patio area. I always try to stay in this house when I go to Port A. It’s perfect!

due to weather we wanted to stay over and extra day and had no problem doing so. Because of continuing rain we had to spend a lot of time in the house. It was very comfortable We will stay here again with hopefully a lot better weather!

Beautiful house and a great location
House was clean and beautiful. It is a little older but very well taken care of. Lots of little amenities, beach towels, washer / dryer, and stuff like that there are not at a lot of rentals. It is a great location, quiet and secluded yet very close to beach and other areas to do things. Highly recommend.

Overall a good experience. House was nice. There were a view rotten boards and items that weren’t the mostly toddler friendly on the deck under. But the staff and host were great and so was the location.

Very very good
This property exceeded my expectations. It wasn't formal and fussy, but felt like visiting a family member's home. Rooms were comfortable and laid out well. Kitchen was very well equiped. There were lots of beach towels. boogie boards, chairs, and even dog toys. Absolutely a joy. The boardwalk to the beach was right out the front door and the drive (if we wanted to take the more stuff) was only a block away.. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Location is everything!
We had a great time at the beach. We could walk directly out onto our own boardwalk to the beach. Close to town, shops, restaurants, etc. The master bed was very comfortable. Glad we were able to bring our dogs!

Not worth the amount of monies paid
The beach amenities below house were sub par for a vacation beach house. Grill was corroded and only two burners worked. Spicket for water house handle was broken. Outside shower was unusable. Water handle to adjust flow was broken. Inside of house: Sheets/Blankets were dirty. Floor was unswept with a lot of sand. Air conditioning registers in living area dripping water. Dryer was not drying towels. Had to set cycle two to three times. Very dissatisfied and we drove from Chicago. Called in to check out on last day and stated the above. They mentioned that why did I not call. With the numerous things that I mentioned that there was never a proper preinspection of the property not to have known all issues. Will never use again.

Great beach proximity
Boardwalk to the beach, or short 1 minute drive. Deck overlooks the sand dunes. Functional and fun, beach decor. Not fancy but not lacking anything either. Great value and great location!

Great Beach Location in Port A
Great location for playing at the beach, close to town and beautiful private home. We will be back! House has basically 2 private wings so perfect for families and 2 -3 couple. Very comfortable furniture and well stocked kitchen. Very nice deck with no access from the ground. Very private. Covered parking and nice patio under the house with outside shower and dining area. We stayed down there during the hot part of the day because the cross breezes reminded us of Hawaii. Also, you can bring your dog and they had dog blankets and water bowls for the pooch!

The location of this home was excellent and we enjoyed the small LaPlaya neighborhood. The house itself served us well. The layout was great for the three of us. The home could use a few updates, but nothing that bothered us during our stay. We enjoyed the views and close proximity to the beach. We did have trouble figuring out the tv system, when needed for a rainy day, but Alex from the rental company was very helpful in solving the problem.
