Text interactions with our host Janine were really helpful, cheery, and right away too. The suite is about an 8 minute walk from the main lodge and a five minute walk (uphill) from Parking Lot 3. The price is awesome compared to the other current offerings. Some things to note. The unusual bunk bed is a 53" double on the bottom, not a queen and the mattress has soft edges! You can slide the unit out from the wall so the back person can stand up and walk around. Until you find the light switch over the counter, you won't be able to read the controls on the induction two-burner stove. The mountain water from the taps is deliciously cold and the hot turns hot almost instantly. There's a good supply of pots and utensils but if you plan to cook, bring everything except salt & pepper. There's some cute decoration and Christmas lighting but you may find the two colour-changing night lights a bit much. You can unplug both and still have enough night vision. Don't wait for the last day to find the USB plug-in that's built into the wall plug behind the bed. Cell service is quite good at the cabin (Bell) despite what you may read on-line about Mt Washington.
