Overall, we enjoyed our stay, celebrating our anniversary. It definitely had a cozy-cabin vibe without the overwhelming hunting vibe that many such places have.
It was a bit far out so getting out to grocery-shop or go to a restaurant took a good bit more driving than we were accustomed to, but that also gave a feeling of quiet and privacy.
The stairs are a bit trecherous. We're thankful nothing was broken—only bruised—when some falls occurred due to the odd stair-spacing (especially with the lighting there) and depth. We'd be hesitant bringing our sleepwalking kid because the stairs only have a rail, not vertical slatting to prevent things from going through.
Fortuntately, my biological clock aligns with solar time, but if you like to sleep in, the lovely arched window has no covering, so the sun will start streaming in, lighting up the place. Just be prepared for that.
The mini-fridge held adequate groceries to do breakfasts at home. There was a coffee maker, stove, and microwave too.
The AC & ceiling fan worked well, keeping a comfortable temperature and humidity during recent hot/muggy days.
Over all, we had a good stay though.
