So many positive things to say about this property and the host/manager/owner. Our group was 6 adults and 5 kids ages 6 - 15. I communicated with Jay during and right after booking, then Mike and Nicole during our stay. A few maintenance issues that were addressed asap and did not detract from our stay, Mike was super responsive. Property has a lot of bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, extra bedding. Nice touch that feminine products were provided in bathrooms. We brought but did not need to bring......dish, laundry and hand soap, dryer sheets, bleach, etc.
Exterior: at least 10 chairs around the campfire, plenty of firewood and utensils for s'mores/hot dogs; gas grill, flat top grill, two kettle charcoal grills; ground level deck area has cushioned wicker chair with seating for seven, large picnic table with seating for eight, four reclining lounge chairs, small iron table with seating for six, and a few other chairs; beside the house has two very nice log rocking chairs; fish cleaning table with hose; 4 or 5 large trash cans outside for everyday and 4 cans at road; two kayaks and two paddle-boards, a few inflatable floats; bring spray/repellent, black flies and mosquitoes are a bit aggressive (typical in northern Michigan).
Pontoon: 3 gas cans; cooler for fish; gas gauge doesn't work (fill before leaving dock); floats and inflatable for tubing.
