The River Bungalow combines functionality with personal touch to make for the most comfortable stay. The house is so easy to settle into and be comfortable. The list of check out items is simple and undaunting.
Our family of five visited Crystal River for Spring Break. Our three daughters range in age from 7-18, and this was the perfect destination to find something for everyone. The house afforded ample space to spread out but also an intimate space to forge family bonds and create lasting memories together - something I’m craving more and more as these moments with my soon off to college daughter are fleeting.
We enjoyed swimming with the manatees, kayaking down the canal to the river, swimming in the pool, cooking meals together, and exploring some of the local restaurants and shops. We had one rain day, and the Florida Aquarium in Tampa was an easy drive to fill it. Hunter Springs, Fort Island Beach, and Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park provided sights we don’t get in our home beach community in North Carolina.
Vanessa was a wonderful host who communicated with us with ease. She prepared her home to anticipate so many of our needs. Extra blankets, plenty of towels, kayaks, bikes, and even toys and treats for the dog were easily found when we arrived. I am so appreciative of all the effort put into this home, and it certainly increases its value.
Highly recommend as we would absolutely return, and the bar for a rental has been set high.
