Perfect Little Getaway
We throughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is so cute, extremely clean and well appointed. In a lovely area just minutes from downtown Dahlonega and many restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again if in the area and I would recommend with 5 stars.

You can tell the owners put their heart and soul into this property to make it enjoyable for their guests. They thought of every little detail to go above the basics. We had a such a great trip and have already shared this property with friends. I will note: we have a truck and it was a little tight in the driveway.

Perfect Cottage for the Southeastern “Napa Valley”
This cottage had everything you could ask for. All modern appliances, clean, and just far enough off the main roads for tranquility.Everything was well stocked (I was especially impressed with the spices and oils available in the kitchen. The retractable canopy allowed for a night of stargazing in the hot tub. Will definitely stay here on our return trips to Dahlonega.

Wonderful stop over between friend and family visits
I wanted to check out the Gainesville GA area between a visit with friends in Asheville and my son in Chattanooga. This rental was very comfortable and clean. Great place to escape to for a couple days and unwind.

From the minute we walked into Cottage on the Hill, we felt relaxed and at home. Every detail you can think of that you need in a rental, the owners have also thought of. Our stay was nothing short of perfect. We relaxed, enjoyed the hot tub, slept like babies, and loved how close we were to the wineries and downtown Dahlonega. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We will be back and I’ll share the link to this lovely cottage with friends and family looking for a peaceful getaway!

Dahlonega Getaway
Perfect cottage setting surrounded by forest. Thoughtful owners provided everything needed for a very comfortable stay, going above & beyond by providing coffee, shower amenities, laundry soap. Everything from decor to bedding to kitchen dishes is well thought out and high end, giving the place a luxury feel. We enjoyed watching lots of deer bound through the property every morning! Have stayed in numerous properties in the north GA area and this was one of the best. Would love to stay again in the future, however vrbo fees may make this property too cost prohibitive. Would remove a star due to exorbitant vrbo fees, however owners deserve 5 stars.

Wonderful trip! Cottage very charming, everything we needed, clean, comfortable, secluded. Four miles from downtown, so was great to be close to restaurants since we eat all our meals out. Awning over hot tub was awesome when it was raining! Highly recommended!

A getaway to paradise

Great Little Hideaway
From the moment you drive up, you can tell a lot of care goes into this property. Then you open the door and walk inside…absolutely beautiful. Such attention to detail was put into all aspects of this little dream. The owners stock the kitchen with coffee, coffee pods, teas. There are beautiful hand soaps and lotions in the kitchen and bathroom. The owners definitely go the extra mile to make sure every aspect of your time spent in their rental feels like home. We will stay again.

Sweetest little oasis in the trees.
Lovely little house so convenient to all the things. Decorated beautifully and well equipped for all our needs. Everything is clearly labeled and easy clean up expectations on check out. Hosts were very responsive for the few questions we had. Nothing we wanted to do was more than 20-25 minutes away at the most. Perfect getaway!

I recently stayed at a beautifully secluded rental that offered the perfect blend of privacy and comfort. One of the standout features was the freedom to roam the property as I pleased, without worrying about nearby neighbors or restrictive clothing norms, which was liberating. The property's hot tub deserves special mention—it was an oasis of relaxation. Immersing myself in the warm, sometimes steaming water was the ultimate unwind. The bed was another highlight; incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful sleep every night. Attention to detail was evident throughout the house. Thoughtful amenities enhanced the experience, like motion-controlled lights in the bathroom, which were surprisingly convenient, and strategically placed flashlights for navigating the pitch-dark nights outside. Despite its rustic charm, the house was equipped with just the right amount of technology, providing an easy escape from the outside world when needed but without overwhelming the rustic vibe. The entire booking and stay process was seamless, adding to the overall ease of my getaway. I'm truly grateful for the experience and look forward to revisiting this hidden gem in the future. For anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with all the necessary comforts, this is the place.

My wife and I loved the cottage, the friendly and welcoming host, and the sound of birds in the morning. The deer were a nice touch too. The local downtown was a cute short distance from the cottage which was nice.

This home was really special. It was eautiful and comfortable. Quiet and secluded. But what made it so special was all the little extras that you don't often find. From flaslight on the bedside table ( which we didn't need, but if we had...) to extra toilet paper to bath robes for the hot tubs to a hundred other things. We would love to do it again!

Perfect Dahlonega cottage for 2 !!
Needed a comfortable place to stay while visiting my mother at Lanier Village Estates in Gainesville. This cottage was the perfect spot. It was close enough for us to visit mom each day but also allowed us some “Vacation” time in Dahlonega. Very clean, all the amenities (sat TV, Wi-Fi, full kitchen, hot tub, grill). Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a spot to stay in Dahlonega.
